L'appartamento era pulito (pulizie quotidiane e cambio asciugamani ogni 2 giorni, un sogno). Spazioso e con un bel balconcino. I proprietari sono davvero gentilissimi e trasmettono la passione per il loro lavoro. Il parcheggio e' in strada, lo abbiamo sempre trovato. Non ci immaginavamo fosse pero' lungo una stradina stretta, le auto devono essere addossate tutte da un lato e occorre entrare e uscire con molta cautela. Unico neo, se proprio devo trovarlo: la fornitura della cucina. Ci sono un pentolone grosso, una padellina e un mini bollittore per latte. Oltre che un bollitore elettrico per the e tisane e una macchina del caffe' americano. Se si potessero dotare gli appartamenti di una pentola media e una padella anti aderente sarebbe cosa buona. Inoltre, se ci fossero in dotazione una piccola quantita' di sale e di olio, come abbiamo trovato in altre strutture, sarebbe il top. Alcune scorte piccole le avevo portate da casa, ma poi l'olio per esempio devi comprarlo per poi lasciarlo li. E' una finezza che pero' per chi sfrutta l'appartamento per cucinare e' preziosa. Ma per il resto tutto top!

My friend & I had an amazing stay in the Superior Apartment. The layout enabled us to have separate sleeping quarters, which was important. It was at the end of the terrace furthest from the pool so was very quiet, just as we wanted, with no one walking past. Air con was great but the rooms stayed quite cool anyway after the evening sun - we had the patio doors open to enjoy the outdoor seating areas as there are fly screens to pull across to ensure nothing gets in. All members of staff were so lovely - kind, cheerful & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were cleared of rubbish & beds made every day. The location was perfect for us - a 10 min walk to Golden Beach, 45 min walk into town. The No.21 bus stops just up the road so public transport is also a breeze. My only ask would be to supply a couple of mugs for us English tea drinkers to enjoy our morning cuppa. Luckily we were able to buy a couple in the JUMBO store up the road, which in itself was an astonishing experience! Would definitely recommend & would definitely stay again - Western Crete is stunning & this is the perfect base to explore it!

Great place!

Wonderful hotel and amazing hospitality. The bar and restaurant are excellent! Hotel is walking distance to Golden Beach and a very short and easy bus ride to everything in Chania. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit großzügigem Apartment. Unser Gastgeber sowie die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und geben alles, damit man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat. Die An der Poolanlage kann man schön entspannen und abends in der Bar sehr leckere Cocktails trinken. Die Anlage ist recht zentral gelegen, bis zum Strand sind es etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

We’ve just returned after a great 5 night stay. The hotel is just off the main road, near to a bakery, supermarket and around 10/15 minutes walk to the beach. The bus stop for Chania is a 2 minute walk away and the busses come regularly. The pool area is sunny with plenty of sun loungers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We’d love to stay again.

The family who own the property were so welcoming, chatty and very helpful. They booked a trip to the Samaria gorge for us, gave advice on beaches, walks and buses to Chania. The property and pool area was very clean and hosed down daily. The rooms were spotless. We would recommend staying here.

Thank you so much Yoda (a fellow Canadian!) and Theo for a wonderful experience. The accommodations were so clean and the food incredible and the pool and deck were fabulous. This family ran establishment will make you feel right at home. This was a great location to drive to many of Cretes amazing attractions. We visited Balos, Preveli and the Samaria gorge. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.

Best home away from home

We can only recommend Theos Village very highly. My partner and I stayed for a few nights. We felt like the family were treating us like family. There wasn’t anything we missed. The food and drinks were delicious, the pool was great in the afternoon after the beach, the apartment was spacious and comfortable. We will miss Jotta’s stories, Alex’s drinks and Michael’s excellent coffee. We will definitely be back. :-)

Un séjour agréable

My husband and I spent 2 weeks there (22nd July - 5th march). Many thanks to Diota and her sons, Michael and Alex (I hope I got the name right) for their friendliness, efficiency and readiness to help. Diota tries to know each customer by their names with which she greets them. I like that personal touch. Theos Village apartments is centred on customer comfort: the place is very clean and things work smoothly. Rooms are cleaned every day and basic necessities are supplied too. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, spacious room, balcony, the pool, the efficient air conditioner and so on. The bus stops are very close so that we were able to visit the town centre and other places. I highly recommend the place

myself and my husband have just returned from these apartments. we were impressed by the accommodation - we were in a studio apartment on the top floor with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and towards the sea. the apartment was very clean and was a large size with everything we needed. the bathroom had a bath with a shower attachment. there was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and the apartment was cleaned just about everyday with clean sheets and towels also just about every day. the pool area was very clean with plenty of sun beds, some times we were the only people around. there are two amazing floating cushions in the pool that you can get on easily and float around on, easy to fall asleep on. the apartment are run by a family and they are all very friendly and helpful. the bar area is nice with quiet music playing in the background. you must try the cocktails. they are very good and amazing value at happy hour which is twice a day. we ate a few meals in the bar all of which were good. the apartments are situated just off a main road but don' let this put you off i was not disturbed by road noise at all. this road is the coast road which runs from Chania town along the coast to other resorts and the busses are frequent, cheap and clean and airconditioned. we used the busses along this route al lot as we were staying for two weeks. we also rented a car for 7 days and i wound strongly recommend this to see more of Crete itself.

We had a fantastic stay at Theo's Village. The owners were so friendly and helpful and made it a home from home. So clean, modern and comfortable. Definitely recommend it. Bus stop just down the road for regular trips into Chania with so many excellent shops and restaurants.

We had an amazing time here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The pool was never too busy and also very clean. The location was really good being near beaches and not right in the busy centre, which you can get a cheap bus too from right outside the apartment hotel. 10/10 would definitely come again.

family owned property. Room I stayed in was newly renovated and much cleaner and nicer than any other property I stayed in Chania. Property seemed to cater more for families but as a solo traveler I was impressed by the amount of travel advice I got from staying at this property! TLDR: Clean, newly renovated rooms with air conditioning, friendly staff and easily accessible parking
