Everything was just perfect. A hidden gem with amazing views of Chania from our room. We highly recommend staying here. Each morning breakfast was cooked for us by the friendly ladies downstairs. Room was cleaned daily.

Bed very uncofortable, its 2 single mattresses ,so hole in the middle was driving us mad. Unless you traveling on your own then it would not be a problem. Bathroom - shower curtain could do with chaning to different type or changed regularly, maybe as the fabric didn’t smell nice and it sticks to your body whlie showering. Breakfast very limited, no fresh vegetables or cheese to make simple sandwich. They could prepare omlet or fried eggs but only twice during our 8 nights stay we were asked what we would like. You automaticly get omlet, ham and cheese toastie, unless you make your way to find somone to tell them you want something diffrent as rarely you will be asked. Ladies at breakfast were lovely and hard working though but could improve with communication. View from the room 10/10 Location ok if you have car.

The best hotel to stay in Chania, with a fantastic panoramic view of the phoenican harbour and sea. The property is spacious, clean, safe, newly refurbished,and on a great location. We booked a spacious suite with 2 bedrooms, living area. The beds/furniture were comfortable, large TV, ACs, bidet, little kitchen that has large fridge, plates&cutlery, kettle and coffee machine. The owner is hospitable and gone beyond limits to make our stay a happy one. Anna, the property supervisor, is an amazing person,helpful,friendly,organised,professional. She went beyond everything to help and made sure we didm’t need anything. She brought us even a microwave to heat our food and arranged with the owner a very late check out because our plane departs at 18:00. We tremendously enjoyed our stay here, not only because it’s a great hotel, but also because of the nice people in it who made us feel at home. I definitely recommend everyone to stay here and I will be coming back very soon.

Very pleasant and helpful. This property has a spectacular view looking west across the Chania coast line. Stratos was very helpful and had recommendations for restaurants in the area. Value property!

My room was overlooking a busy road, it was very noisy together with the construction work happening over the street. Because of the off-season time there were almost no other guests in the hotel, so the reception and lobby was always closed, and there was no place to sit inside.

An absolute gem of a find

This was an absolute gem of a find. A small private hotel, not one of those plastic behemoths, were you are just another customer. This hotel is also a work in progress - more amenities and features are being planned. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean,, the bed very comfortable, and the large balcony offered a stunning view over Chania. The staff - Manolis, the General Manager and Anna, the receptionist, and the cleaner - sorry, didn't get the young lady's name, were delightful and very accommodating. It is the little things like this that made my visit so memorable. A really enjoyable stay. I will use this hotel again any time I need to visit Chania

It's really a pity that a hotel on such a nice location, looks like it's abandoned. The room was clean but very basic for 95 euros per night, and very far away from our expectations according to the photos

Edge of Chania Hotel close to the airport

Very spacious accommodation but a little dated requiring some updating and repairs. Nice continental breakfast and friendly and helpful host. 45 minute walk from the old town and 20 mins from the airport.

Absolutely wonderful

I’ve stayed in many hotels in Europe and this was by far one of my favorites. The host loves his country and his hotel and as such was a great steward. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel was out of the chaotic and crowded city center but close enough. The location has a beautiful view and is very peaceful. Breakfast was perfect. Thank you so very much Manolis!!

Das Hotel ist wunderbar gestaltet und hat eine tolle Lage mit phantastischen Blick auf Chania. Allerdings liegt es etwas außerhalb der Stadtmitte, so dass ein Auto empfehlenswert ist.

Hyggelig opphold og mottakelse. Rommene var av grei størrelse. Fin utsikt mot Chania om du har rom med utsikt mot havet. Enkel frokost nå utenfor sesongen siden de da ikke har frokostbufett. Hotellet ligger ikke så langt fra flyplassen, så ypperlig om du ankommer sent eller skal avgårde tidlig.

My favorite thing about Loucerna is the character of this property. The beatiful art painted on the walls and the cylindrical building on the side of the hill made me feel like I was in a place that was created through a lot of people that put a lot of passion into it! They had a lovely breakfast, were and very kind. Although my stay was not long it was fantastic.

Dejligt lille hotel tæt på Chania lufthavn

Dejligt hotel med perfekt beliggenhed i forhold til lufthavnen. Hotellet var rent og pænt og vores værelser lå med en fantastisk udsigt. Meget venlig modtagelse selvom vi kom kl. 23 om aftenen. Der var ikke så mange udefaciliteter, men da vi kun skulle overnatte 1 nat, betød det ikke noget for os. Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet til andre, der ikke ønsker at bo i Chania centrum.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful Crete

Perfect in every way. Brilliant owner Manolis and his staff who were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Special mention to Nick who was always happy to keep us right with any questions we had. Our views while having breakfast were the best ever. Already feel the urge to return. Western Crete is just amazing!

Magnificent Hotel

Everyday fresh and delicious breakfast. The receptionist, Mr Manolis always ready to help. Room service excellent. I really recommend this hotel as the next holiday staying!
