Man bor mitt på shoppinggatan. Mycket enkelt boende med spis men som knappt funkade (så glöm att lagar egen mat) och lampor som inte heller funkade. Trevlig värd och tillgång till terrass.

Stay away from this place!

This place was bad. And I mean, really bad. The owner/was extremely unfriendly and rude. And demanded cash upon my arrival. This is never happened to me before. But that’s OK, I dealt with it but he continued to be extremely rude and mean and very unfriendly. The rooms were extremely bare had no amenities at all. No soap, no kettle, no coffee, no tea. Stairs up to the rooms was extremely steep. Then I had to take an additional spiral staircase up to my room that was extremely rickety and unsafe. Also, the rooms are not in the location that Google maps brings you to. Please be aware of that. The rooms are located in an Old Town, that is actually is a great location. If it wasn’t for that, I definitely would’ve just left.

Chambre petite, très sombre, mal équipée et sale. Le placard à couverts est bloqué par la marche d’accès à la salle bain où on n’a pas envie de marcher pieds nus. Accueil minimaliste.

Normally, I don’t pay much attention to negative reviews, but in this case I can confirm they were absolutely correct. My stay at this property was a major disappointment and I felt misled. Upon arrival, I was forced by the owner to pay in cash, even though my booking was made through the system with a credit card. When I objected, the owner reacted aggressively. In addition, the accommodation did not match the description on the website at all: No parking available No kitchen or kitchenette, although advertised No private beach, despite being listed Very noisy rooms – the floors creaked so badly you could hear every movement No daily cleaning No reception or staff available for most of the day, only when the owner happened to be present Ants in the bed and throughout the room The most concerning aspect was the owner’s hostile attitude when I refused to pay in cash. This made my stay not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. Overall, this was an extremely negative experience. I would like to file an official complaint and request that this case be investigated. It is unacceptable that a property can advertise facilities and services that are simply not provided.

Would not recommend, here is why!

Plats: läget är det enda jag kan säga var bra, centralt i gamla stan i chania. Lokal: lever inte upp till vad ägaren säger, dålig ljudisolering mellan rummen, AC så dålig att den knappt fungerar som fläkt 90% av tiden. Alltså varmare i rummet än ute och vi hade 33-35 plus grader ute under vistelsen. Skulle städas i rummet varje dag, under vår vistelse städades det inte någon dag utan vi fick själva använda handdukar. Obekväma sängar och inga möjligheter att mörklägga rummet när man skall sova. Personal: Personal går in i rummet utan legitim anledning och hävdar att han skulle lämna handdukar men hade inga med sig, personal går in i rummet på dagarna ovh stänger av AC på rummen. Personal är otrevlig, nedlåtande och utan service förmåga. Personal undviker aktivt kontaktsökande ifrån boende vilket gjorde att vi inte fick nytt toalettpapper vilket gjorde att vi fick använda handdukar istället. Personal ljuger och lägger på telefonen i örat på hotels.coms kundservice när vi är i kontakt med dem. Man vill inte vara på rummet men man vill inte lämna sina grejer heller för man litar inte på personalen...

The rooms were furnished with furniture that looked like it was obtained from the Salvation Army. We were requested to pay the full amount in cash upfront prior to getting the rooms!!!!!!!

I messaged the hotel 8.59pm that I was just about to arrive as my bus was delayed. Check in dead line was 9pm. There was nobody when I arrived, telefon number on the app didn’t work, could hear it ringing and nobody to answer. Found another number and the person showed up after 15-20 minutes. He said my room wasn’t paid and wanted cash. Wouldn’t give me the WiFi password to arrange payment, said I had to pay cash first to get the Wi-Fi. The most unfriendly experience I’ve had checking in. The room was surprisingly clean and comfortable though. I’d rather pay a little more and get much better service.

The way the room was on the site was not what we got. No kitchen although I booked with kitchen on the site. To be honest, I have been in Ghania before and was also inside the old town in a better room for the same price. Is a few years ago, so I didn’t have the number anymore. Maintenance in this building was poor. So I won’t reccomand this hotel to people who ask me about it. There are better places to stay in Ghania. One night was enough

Fantastisk beliggenhet, elendig service

Hotellet (eller room for rent) ligger nærmest midt på torget i den venetianske havnen. Midt i gamlebyen. Men dette hjelper lite når hotellverten er sur og lite imøtekommende. Man føler at man er mer til bry enn som betalende gjest. Hotellet virker skittent, men laknene var rene. Vi velger et annet overnattingssted neste gang…

Bad choice

Ultimo di 10 giorni a Creta: il pernottamento peggiore (a parità di livello di prezzo). Centralissimo. Fine. Camere sotto ogni standard, di pulizia e di sicurezza. L'albergatore ha un suo carattere specifico. Nessun parcheggio in dotazione: trovare posto dove c'è, che a Chania è un'impresa non semplice.

ZERO Customer Service

We had a bad experience when we arrived. Our flight got delayed for more than 4 hours and we were trying to get the phone number of the hostel to inform but we didn't receive it in our booking. So we arrived almost 12am to the hostel and the guy at the reception received us in a very bad attitude, blaming us because we didn't call without asking us reasons, he said it is in our booking with Expedia but we were trying to tell him we booked through Hotels.com . We would still pay for the room even if we didn't arrive, but he treated us so badly that I had to tell him to calm down.

Isäntä oli mukava ja auttavainen. Paikka oli kaiken keskellä, mikä oli hyvä. Ikkunat olivat paksut, joten sain hyvin nukuttua yöni, eikä musiikki haitannut.
