Check-in was ok.The kitchen facilities was great.Could use a bigger frying pan.I would also suggest putting a sign in front of your pier, so guests will know which one to use.

Great Lake getaway

Wonderful property that fit our needs as a family on vacation. It was great to have the kayaks to use there. Loved the little separate room off the house.

Week at the lake.

Upstairs balcony is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of the lake. Fenced in yard is a huge plus with dogs. Good location on lake and within 35 minutes of Tyler and Palestine.

Lakehouse getaway

The house was very clean and had a beautiful view of the lake. We were able to stay a night just my wife and I to enjoy the peaceful solitude, and then a night with our 3 kids. I would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a romantic getaway or for a small family wanting to enjoy some time on the lake.

LOVED our stay!

We absolutely loved staying here. We had everything we needed. Such a peaceful place. We had four teenage girls with us and they never got bored. Swam off the dock, fished, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Will definitely be back!

Great family gathering spot!

We had a great time getting together with family for the weekend here. With one group coming from Central Texas and the other from East Texas, it was the perfect in between spot. House was fantastic. Location was phenomenal. Local restaurants were amazing. Hoping to make this a recurring trip!

Cozy and relaxing!

Very cozy, quaint cottage that has most everything you need. Plenty of room for our two large dogs in the backyard. Hosts are friendly and attentive.

Great time at the lake

A short visit but was good. Great views of the lake and east to get out and have fun on floats and kayak. For larger families difficult with the split bedrooms between buildings.

Amazing Location and Outstanding communication with VRBO host

Our family had a great time at this rental with a backyard facing the lake. We loved every moment and would love to return in the near future. The house was clean and the amenities available were perfect for our quick getaway from the city limits. Thank you for hosting us in your rental.

Great cottage

We stay here every year. We love the cottage. No issues and thank you for the early check in. The door handle on the guest house is a little tricky and kept coming off but my husband was able to put it back on each time. See you next October

Nice stay on a beautiful lot.

The property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. There is a beautiful view of the water feom the back of the house. It is a typical older lake house but had most of what we needed. Kitchen essentials could use an update as we had a hard time baking a simple cake. No ice maker on premises so we spent a lot on ice. Overall, our stay was nice!

Weekend getaway

We had an amazing time. Place was big enough for the family and the dogs. Kids had plenty to do. Paddle boat was available along with the kayaks. Fishing was on point all weekend. Host was great. No issues with anything. Will definitely be renting it again

Relaxing getaway

Sunrise shores cottage was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Very clean and enough room for the whole family. I loved the big yard and access to kayaks and a paddle boat. Unfortunately, it stormed our whole stay so we could not enjoy the lake quite as much as we had hoped. But we loved the cottage and the host was very responsive and helped us work through some complications with the stormy weather. We will definitely book this cottage again!

Fabulous and Relaxing

We enjoyed the lake, fishing off of the dock, kayaking, and floating, Brookshire's was close, maybe a 15 minute drive, we went into Tyler to some antique stores. We cooked all of the trip so cannot speak on restaurants. Overall great communication, easy access. Would be a great place for someone with a bigger family or shared expense with friends. The outside building was awesome but we did not need to use it as there were only three of us and our dog! The dog enjoyed the yard and swimming in the lake!

Wow Wow Wow

I don't know where to start. Our family lives 3 houses away from this beautiful home and we were able to rent it this past weekend as an overflow for us. Such a great property! The owners have literally thought of everything. The beds are comfy, kitchen has more than we ever expected, and the grounds are just gorgeous! This home boasts two separate homes and even has a washer and dryer. The boat dock is great and fishing was awesome.. thw sunrises were breathtaking!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. Y'all have done an amazing job! We can't wait to come back!
