"The room itself was basic but perfectly adequate for a one night stop, though it would havd been nice to ha e a proper cup rather than paper for hot drinks in the room. We had evening dinner and breakfast, both of which were fine. The main let down was the bathroom- when using the tap in the sink it came off in my hand (you had to be very careful when using it). "What a find! The owners have combined their family heirlooms with modern facilities most charmingly in their farmhouse. Beautiful gardens and thoughtfully arranged outdoor spaces. A most sympathetic and friendly hostess. Our evening meal was home cooked with vegetables and fruit from their potager. "This was my favorite 24 hours out of a 2 week trip to Europe! The Chateau is straight out of a fairy tale. We were greeted by two lovely women who brought us champagne and snacks while getting our room ready. We spent a couple hours in the spa enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and specialty teas. We walked the property and the few streets around the Chateau before enjoying a lovely dinner. The next morning we headed to Epernay for a fabulous champagne cellar tour at Moët and Chandon. It was perfect!"
