"This property is Extremely Beautiful and so very very well maintained and clean. Our host and hostess greeted us with a bottle of wine and a berry tort, delicious. The surrounding area is so very peaceful and beautiful. We were there for 1 week and totally enjoyed our selves. The home itself is very well equipped with whatever one would need. I could tell that attention to detail was the owners goal. Very lovely people and very lovely home."

"The house is a charming old house with all the aminities one needs. Every day the pool is cleaned by Gabrielle, a very nice old man. The house is beautifully located in the hills above de valey of Spoleto and in fact on the pilgrims road between Spoleto and Assisi. We made some beautiful walks. The garden is shaded en well suited for dogs. Ours loved it. We certainly hope to return."

"Our stay at the Barbacane was lovely. It's pretty close to Spoleto, though a somewhat winding road. The kitchen is well-stocked, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable. We had a very nice time there! "

"The two landlords are two loving elderly people who take touching care of their guests. The house is furnished with great attention to detail and hardly leaves anything to be desired. The mountain village in which the house is located is tiny but beautifully situated. If you want a quiet holiday, this is the place for you. The furnishings are all very tired, the kitchen chaotic, the cleanliness not up to scratch and the worst of all, NO WIFI, although this is promised. "My partner and I felt very well taken care of at La Terrazza. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptional. The highlight for us was the view from the swimming pool, where we could see the stunning Umbrian countryside. It was just what we both needed!"

"Da Angelo is set in the beautiful countryside, within walking distance to historic Assisi. With a sparkling pool that overlooks the valley below, and full of birdsong and dotted with olive trees and rosemary bushes, it was so charming! The room smelled strongly of air freshener when we entered but it was spotlessly clean and we simply opened the patio doors and windows (with screens) and it was fine. Free buffet style breakfast had variety and was nice and fresh. We also purchased dinner and portions were so generous, we were stuffed. Friendly and helpful staff as well. I also appreciated the early check in. All in all, a great spot to relax, especially before walking all through the hills of Assisi!"

"We had a suite which was HUGE with a spa and fantastic valley views. Parking on the premises if you got there first. Ample buffet breakfast. For such an expensive room there was no ironing board or kettle. Amazing. "
