The facilities were excellent, especially the pool and bar area, which never felt too busy. The private beach was also a lovely area and the sea was surprisingly warm. "We enjoyed our stay in Ascea, a beautiful area with a stunning beach nearby! However, we were disappointed to find that the balcony view in the listing was not accurate. Additionally, we were not informed that essentials like toilet paper, sponge and daily necessities were not provided, which caused some inconvenience. We also experienced issues with the bathroom lock (got locked inside of the bathroom for 25mins) despite all our efforts to open from inside and outside, and the lack of air...

"Historic 19th century manor modernized approximately for a lovely stay. War the museum and archeological site, yet away from the busy entrance cares. A wonderful restaurant that one needs to reserve for an exclusive chef directed dinner. Novel and well prepared. With special touches that Chef Luigi creates. Other excellent restaurants and bistros in walking distance. This boutique hotel is best for adults, but children would be fine —just not at the restaurant. Fresh fruit and chef-baked bread are part of the buffet breakfast as is home made cheeses and condiments. A great place to be after a day walking among ancient ruins and elegant temples."

Gorgeous in a largely Italian only tourist village

"Gorgeous villa with modern conveniences like a full size shower with rain shower head. Yummy full European breakfast. The hotel has ocean front balcony views and sits on a new and well lit promenade. The owners speak English in a village where few do. A fun stay in a nearly Italian only tourist village. Go! "

"We went in late May, so before the main season. The hotel is lovely, comfortable rooms - book one with a sea view, it's amazing. The pool was fabulous, plenty of seating and sunbeds. Good parking arrangements. Staff are friendly and willing to help. If there was an area for I would suggest some alternatives to the baked sweet goods, although if you have a sweet tooth, you're in for a treat. Eggs were available on request and they were good. It is a stunningly beautiful part of the world and the hotel is a perfect place to enjoy it."

"It was a very nice stay. The owner is a very nice gentleman. He even help us carry our luggage to our room. The town itself is very beautiful. Just a few steps down the road, there were dining and shopping areas. The owner actually shooted a video of where to park and how to get there. That made it very easy for us. We would love to go visit again. "

"We arrived early at the hotel and we're allowed to park at the hotel while we walked to the ancient Greek Temples which were an easy walk from the hotel. The hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice swimming pool. The room was nice and clean, but simple. We atedinner and it was delicious, as was the morning breakfast. All in all a great stay and we would do it again. If you are going to see the Temples, it is worth a stay. "
