"I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. It’s only an 8-minute walk from Assisi train station. The location is excellent—we walked just 5 minutes to the Basilica of Santa Maria. For halal food, Alo Ali Kebab shop is right across the road, and for non-Muslims there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby. The housekeeper, Joy, was amazing—we already miss her! The old satin machine-quilted bedcover had seen better days and its underside had rust stains. The mattress was old and somewhat lumpy.
