"The Kuerig coffee maker was dirty as was the coffee space. The toilet handle had to be jiggled to work properly. Parking was good! Staff was okay but could have been more accommodating and courteous."

"Honest! We were in town for a concert and I had to leave my purse in the room, so I stuck it in a drawer. Unfortunately I forgot all about it until staff called hours after we had checked out that it had beed found. All the contents were still there when I picked it up. I was so thankful!! The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Walking distance to several restaurants. The area was quiet over the weekend. Beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Very nice stay. Vallet was nice and very helpful. Definitely will be back. The only negative was the breakfast. For such a nice and a bit pricey of a hotel, we expected a little more than what you'd get at a two star hotel. We were able to find a nice breakfast at a local restaurant."

"The hotel is old with nostalgia. There were no amenities specifically for AlphaKappaAlpha as our 5 day convention was going on. The hotel can really use more upgrading. There was no complementary breakfast and I was told we should go next door to the Fairfield hotel for that. The food on the rooftop of the Elayton was very good. Over all, I give the hotel 3 stars. I was a little disappointed because the hotel did not honor the AKA convention rate and it was not worth the cost. "

"This is a very unique hotel- with no one checking you in or out as it’s all on key pads. The rooms are charming. BUT- once again we were facing the main road and cars were revving their engines and speeding all night! A terrible night’s sleep! Also, the coffee station has no cream. No glasses in the room. No ice. No amenities. Nice bar next door! Free parking. "
