Grand Mesa Haven is perfect for couples that are looking for a private, quiet place to get away or for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy recreation on the Grand Mesa and Gunnison Gorge Recreation area. The property sits on four acres at the foot of the Grand Mesa with spectacular views of the San Juan Mountains, Gunnison Gorge and Uncompahgre Plateau.

A perfect place - lovingly cared for by the hosts. It truly felt like staying in a family member’s home. Thoughtful details were provided- tea and coffee (including decaf), snacks,; shops 10 minutes away, but home was out in the peace and quiet of the country with sweeping views. Near to the beauty of the Grand Mesa. A few additional things would make it more manageable and safer for elderly and disabled persons such as grab bars in the shower.

What a view!

Top notch accomodations. All of the amenities were first rate. From the toilet tissue to the towels and bedding, all first rate. Very clean, quiet, and spacious.

Relaxing and quiet get away

Check in was easy. Property was clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable! Loved watching the sunsets from the deck. Also loved watching the deer that would graze in the field in front of the house! Would stay there again .

The most well hosted property We have stayed in. The property was super clean. The furnishing were comfortable and not worn. The kitchen was well supplied. The complimentary items were very thoughtful and a nice touch. Well Done!!!!

Super Nice

Appreciated the added amenities (snacks, water, extra razors, etc). The view was incredible. Very quiet, conveniently located close to Grand Mesa and Cedaredge, clean and comfortable. Hope to be back soon!

Perfection to say the least!

This was not just a great location with a spectacular view. Also clean as a whistle, comfy bed, beautiful construction aspects, and so many extra touches by the host. We will absolutely return in the future. This was actually the best rental we have ever stayed in.

Easy, quiet, clean, friendly

Walk out on the front deck and you can see all of the valley below and the Milky Way above. Extremely quiet. Very nice place with great internet and 100s of DVD movies available. Easy parking and easy rules (put sheets and towels in laundry basket and take out trash). Will recommend to others and will return.

What a find!

Incredible views and an extremely comfortable house. At the base of Grand Mesa a few miles northwest of Cedaredge, this home is immaculate, well designed and well stocked. Melinda and Alan put a great deal of care into creating a welcoming place to stay. We spent most of our time during the day on the deck enjoying the views and our evenings enjoying the selection of movies. Huge shower, full size washer and dryer, very comfortable bed, upgraded linens. Private and spacious, simply one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. We are looking forward to returning next trip!
