"This place is such a hidden gem due to its newness. Love that it is off on the north island so you can enjoy some peace and quiet but having the luxury of the scheduled ferry boat to take you to the South Island is really great. The room is very clean and modern. Also the bar/restaurant staff are incredible and they have some great eats. "

"The villa was clean, updated, and very comfortable. The view and the pool is beautiful. The bar had awesome happy hour drinks every day, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. My only issue was we charged food and drinks to the room instead of paying upfront and without getting a receipt. At checkout the bill was enormous and I had nothing to tabulate the added costs. Lesson learned."

"Great vacation and location. Not much to do on the island but if looking for laid back this is the place. Sargasm is pretty thick in the spring and summer and can be stinky. No beach. We took a boat out for the day and was amazing. Also hung out at the split. "

"What might be helpful to others is that this is NOT a 2BR, 2 bathroom unit. It is actually 2 separate units each with their own private entrances, kitchens, living areas and porches. Basically a duplex (one up and one down), which was great for us - 2 female friends traveling together. Properties were really clean and both beds were comfortable. For people planning on vacationing here, I would suggest bringing some spices from home and coffee filters if you like a morning cup of jo. There are no provisions other than filtered water. There are pots, pans, knives, plates, bowls, and silverware but nothing else. If you are planning on cooking, you will need to bring all provisions. Groceries are cheaper and more abundant on the south side of Caye Caulker. We would definitely stay here again and preferred the north side of Caye Caulker which is a little quieter and more relaxing. Restaurants on the north side were all wonderful! Bliss Beach and the new Bounty Bay Beach club are both fun. Make sure to try the Shrimp Ceviche at Bliss Beach...the best I have ever had!! I highly recommend renting a golf cart and buying a 5 time pass from the Split-to-Split ferry guys for 50 USD which will allow you to cross the split 5 times (back and forth) with your golf cart. Otherwise it is 25 USD per round trip. We will be back!! Thank you for the great stay."

"Title: Major issues from arrival through departure – very disappointing stay Review:We rented this VRBO on Caye Caulker from March 13-23. Our arrival was chaotic: the caretaker Desmond ghosted us at the San Pedro ferry dock despite promising to pick us up by boat. We had to arrange our own taxis and golf cart. Upon reaching the house we discovered no running water, raw sewage backup in the downstairs bathroom, a worker occupying one bedroom (uncomfortable with teens in our group), leaking improperly installed A/C units, and multiple unusable rooms.Issues persisted the entire 11 days: repeated plumbing backups (including into the sink), very spotty hot water (none in some rooms), electrical outage on day 6, non-functional locks and doors with zero security, rats, roaches and ants, broken bikes/equipment that kept getting stolen, and no clean linens or towels provided once. We repaired a toilet, fixed bikes, cleaned the laundry room, and washed our own linens. We left the place better than we found it.Desmond was fired on day 5 and replaced by Shane and Larry, who were helpful and dedicated. The property has a lot of potential, but it desperately needs a boatload of TLC and better management.We had some fun despite the constant problems, but this was far from the relaxing island getaway we booked. We would not recommend this property or host in its current state."
