"The house is beautiful and could not be in a better location right on the water next to Cave Point. It is well appointed and accommodating. The host was fantastic, super responsive and really helpful in providing information about the house and activities in the area. Overall, five stars."

"This is a terrific spot for a family or group! You basically own the peninsula for your stay with a FABULOUS outdoor space. Enjoy the huge firepit, outdoor seating, hammock and swinging chair and even your own miniature lighthouse that has a light at night! Start the day on your dock with morning coffee and swim and kayak to your heart’s content."

"This was a great location/base camp for my family of three young adults and my husband and I. We enjoyed spending time on the deck drinking coffee in the morning and our kids had fun watching the DVD selection in the evening (most were movies my husband and I watched when we were there ages) ! Everything was really clean and organized. Laurie gave some great suggestions for restaurants in other towns as well. So much to do- Anderson Dock, state parks, Washington island, school house beach, wineries!"

"We had a near perfect week at Hugo’s on the Bay. The house was cozy, beds comfortable and window views fantastic! We spent a lot of time on the dock watching sunsets. The lake was very quiet and peaceful during our stay. If renters like having a TV on the main floor, they should be aware that there are only TV’s in the bedrooms & loft seating area. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs…our Lab loved the lake!"

"This home is stunning. We loved every second of staying here. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. One thing to keep in mind is that if you need to communicate with the management team that handles the rental, outside of hours you will communicate directly with a call center that has no clue yet pretends to represent the company."

"The house was beautiful, spacious and close to the activities we wanted to explore. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! There is a separate apartment over the garage which had rather steep stairs so it was most appropriate for the younger members of our party. The rooms were large and comfortable and each one had its own bathroom which was a huge bonus. We enjoyed the short walk down the street to the lake and sitting out back with a crackling fire in the fire pit."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. Very reachable hosts who helped with all our needs. Kids (3 & 1) enjoyed the shallow waters by the shore while parents/grandparents comfortably observed in adirondack chairs. Close (30 mins) to all the nearby towns/harbors which made it easy to check out new places in the AM and then relax around lake in the PM. Very clean, calm lake. House was well stocked and clean."
