Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul

This hotel has NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE ROOMS. Our room was very hot & had 1 small window that only opened a crack at the top. When I called the desk they said they have no climate control in rooms but there is a small fan. Seriously? In 2026? I’ve stayed in hostels w AC. The hotel is right by several highways, so the open window was very loud. The fan dried out everyone’s sinuses. Just miserable. I would not have booked if I would have known no AC, but the hotel is new, modern, very nice looking, so something so basic was assumed. I travel a lot all over the world for business & Clayton is now on my list of “never book” properties.

We loved our stay

The location is great, and I have stayed many times. However, the heat was unbearable, even though it was not very hot outside. The building seems to retain heat, it felt like the radiators were turned on all of the time, although they weren't. This made my stay very uncomfortable, and made working from the bedroom very difficult.
