Grimaldi Terrace by Wonderful Italy
Elegant and modern apartment with terrace and view on Mount Etna.
The apartment is on the third floor of a building in the historic center of Catania. The entrance opens onto the living area enriched with a porcelain stoneware floor and furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, a TV and a dining table; a French-window makes the room very bright and gives access to the terrace equipped with a lounge area.
The kitchen boasts modern furnishing and is fitted with all amenities including an induction hob, an espresso coffee machine and an oven.
A bedroom with a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower completes the layout, and an additional toilet.
*There is another apartment inside the building. Contact us for more information.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Catania boasts a beautiful historical center, listed among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Its architectural wonders, as well as the colourful street markets, the wild beauty of the Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you. Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit. And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), olivette of Sant’Agata (typical sweets made of almond paste and coloured in green) and the famous brioches with granita. For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is really not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off! An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best known novel, “I Malavoglia”.
Catania Fontanarossa Airport is less than 15 minutes away from the accommodation.
