Ideal location in heart of Catania

Nice apartment, right in the heart of Catania. Private bathroom (external to bedroom). Mauro was very helpful and gave good recommendations.

This place is great especially because it is located very central and there are lots of restaurants and bars around. We felt very welcome from the beginning and the host gave us tips on where to go in the city.

Great value for money!

Love this bed & breakfast! Mauro was super helpful, responding to all my questions and super accommodating. The location is very central, close to everything, which I love! Would definitely come back again.

Zentral gelegen, sauber, individuell eingerichtet

Freundlicher Vorab-E-Mail-Kontakt und ebenso freundlicher Empfang durch Mauro, der perfektes Englisch spricht. Wir konnten uns vor Ort eines von zwei Zimmern aussuchen und haben uns für das mit dem vom Zimmer zugänglichen Bad entschieden. Das Zimmer ist ebenso wie auch der Frühstücksraum liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet. Der Stil hat uns sehr gut gefallen, so dass wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Die Zimmer sind in einer großen Wohnung im obersten Stock eines Hauses ca. 3 Minuten fussläufig zur Piazza Duomo. Im Umkreis sind sehr viele Restaurants und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Mauro hat uns Tipps zum Parken gegeben. Da sich die Suche nach einem freien Platz etwas schwierig gestaltet hat, sind wir auf einen Parkplatz gefahren.

Great B&B in the heart of Catania

We only stayed for one night but would have been happy to stay longer. We felt very welcome and got good service. The location of B&B was great and the room and bathroom clean and spacious. We would love to come back to Catania and Doralice.

Très bien , le BAnd B est très bien situé et correspond parfaitement au descriptif . L’eau chaude est un peu aléatoire et il y a 3 hauts étages à monter , mais annoncés . A part cela rien a dire , bon accueil et documents touristiques et infos fournis à la d’amande . Visite du Vesuve organisée , TB Pas de surprise , comme annoncé .

いいロケーションだけど快適とは言い難い

チェックインの際、電話連絡しても、連絡がつかない。随分時間のロスだった。 どちらかというと、管理人のいないB&Bで料金は安いけどおすすめできない。 部屋は4階て荷物を持って上がるのも大変。ガスがなくなってシャワーが冷たい。

Great location!

The location is great and Mauro is a fine host. The property is old and is not kept in the best confition. I would not recommend this bed and breakfast to travelers with luggage or mobility difficulties.

Super vært, perfekt placering

Allerede før ankomst havde jeg kontakt med Marco, værten. Super venlig, meget informativ, sjov og hjælpsom. Det var det første sted på en 11 dages tur rundt på Sicilien hvor værelset havde "sjæl". Det var hyggeligt, uhyre centralt. Faktisk lige ved Universitets Pladsen og hovedgaden. Værten var hele opholdet igennem meget sød, hjælpsomt uden at virke an-massende. Super, 6 stjerner ud af 6.

Super Stadthotel für Kurztruo nach Catania

Das Hotel hat beste city Lage. Der Dom, die Elefanten Statue und der Fischmarkt sind nur 3-4 Gehminuten entfernt. Eine Top Lage für die Erkundung der Stadt und trotzdem dank doppelfenster sehr ruhig. Unser Host, Alice, sorgte für einen herzlichen Empfang und viel Beratung.

Awesome place!

I was on my way to Taormina and I had a wonderful time here. Location is great, room was big, clean, nicely decorated and charming. Very comfortable and you can't hear anything from outside once you close your balcony. Nice view of the piazza from there. Alice is very nice and welcoming. She helped me and spent more than 20 minutes on the telephone to find me a way to get to Taormina because transportation was limited because of the G7 summit and I don't speak Italian. She took all the time and care to help me with that. I can't wait to go back and stay longer in Catania since I was only spending one night. Grazie Mille, Alice!

Excellent accueil en plein centre ville

A wonderful B&B in a good location.

Slightly difficult to locate, but once I found it and parked, it turned out to be quite wonderful. Alice was very welcoming and helpful. My very clean room overlooked the piazza. Huge room, great location. Good WiFi. Note that there are a couple of flights of stairs involved in accessing the BnB.

Fabulous access to Catania.

This Bed and Breakfast was located among the shops and restaurants so it was quick and easy to visit our chosen tourist attractions, including a local bus trip to Syracusa. The room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. Our hostess was very warm, welcoming and thoughtful. She willingly answered our queries and offered helpful advice about what to see and do in the city. We really enjoyed our four days in this hotel.

BB près du Duomo

Très bien situé, propre et accueil sans faille. Par contre difficile d'accès pcq au 3 ième étage. Matelas inconfortable, grande chambre avec vue sur Duomo et place du Duomo. Petit déjeuner â l'italienne avec un choix remarquable de miels locaux, bon café (ça va de soi), et yaourt pour ceux qui comme moi en désirent le matin. Bons conseils de visite. Je n'y retournerais pas À cause du matelas et de l'escalier, vie abrégée pour l valise.

Brilliant location and host.

Could hardly be nearer centre. Host Alice very friendly and informative. Rooms very comfortable and clean.Didn't have time to stay for breakfast but looked good. Only thing stopping us from giving it a 5 is the stairs - the B&B is on the third floor and there is no lift. Had we known accommodation was going to be this good we would have changed our plans to spend more time in Catania where there is more to see than we had expected.

Perfect location, helpful host

The Doralice is beautifully decorated, there is a lovely big wooden door leading to a small courtyard, then some smart marble steps leading up to the B&B. We arrived 3 hours late (and after midnight) and Alice waited up for us to arrive and could not have been more welcoming. We had not pre-booked breakfast but Alice gave us the opportunity to book it at 1am! Our room was large and comfortable, brightly but tastefully decorated. We had a view onto the square, and a little balcony (just one of those you can just about stand on). It was lovely! The bathroom was across the hall but we had our own key (on a cute little hook shaped like a toilet!) and the bathroom was large, had a very powerful shower and again was nicely decorated. We had booked a trip up Etna for the day after our arrival, and we had forgotten our sun cream. Alice kindly lent us some! The breakfast was fresh and delicious. If you are doing a trip up Etna then we highly recommend going with the one recommended on the Doralice website (Etnaround). We loved our stay at the Doralice.

Delizioso soggiorno

Questo bb è perfetto per ogni tipologia di viaggio: in coppia, sarà perfetto per la sua atmosfera romantica. In famiglia, sarà molto comodo perché la stanza da 4 è molto spaziosa. Da soli, vi permetterà di andare in giro la sera in centro ed essere subito a casa. Alice è deliziosa e il suo bed and breakfast non poteva che rispecchiare il suo stile. L'unica cosa un po' scomoda è il bagno che non è in camera, ma vi assicuro che vale la pena soggiornare in questo bb anche con questa piccola caratteristica negativa. Il bagno, comunque privato, è poi pulito e vivibile. Consiglio davvero di sceglierlo!
