The staff were nice. The room was clean but could replace the carpet, no TV. The breakfast was basic, the cornos tasted great. They have a taxi deal $25 euro flat rate to the airport, which was better than Uber. Located across from a large park which i found interesting. About a 10 minute walk down hill brings you to a major shopping/walking area.

breakfast was good, generally very clean except the carpet around the bed needed steam cleaning. The mattress was terrible and very firm, mattress only, no box spring, parking was terrible and parked 2w locks from hotel entrance.

Catania visit

Great location nice to park with easy walk into city centre. Plenty of restaurants close by. Nice breakfast. Room clean and nice decor..... only issue was aircon, more like a fan than offering cooling

Good location to explore Catania. Damian was wonderful with a good sense of humour. The rooms are quite soundproof compared to many of the places we have stayed. Parking in front of the hotel was a bit of a challenge but possible especially after 9pm.

Short stay in Catania

It was a short stay, but I would stay longer next time. Hotel is on the excelent area, close to park, close to shoping and restaurant area, staff was so helpfull. It was clean, quiet. We didn't need car to visit the city, just a short walk. Rooms are very, very small. Maybe good for solo traveler, but it was tihgt for 2. Anyway, I recomend this hotel to anyone.

The receptionist is a young and energetic man. He always smiles and is helpful. The hotel is on a second floor. There is nothing above or below. It’s a nice building. The rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is good.

I´ll start positive; the location is great; it is next to the park and very close to the old city center. Also, the bed was really comfortable, and the wi-fi connection worked well. But the room was full of mosquitoes and mold on the ceiling. This prevents me from giving a positive rating. Check-in is only available until 5 p.m.; we had to change our plans because of this, which is not a very pro-customer approach.

City Hall was a very nice B&B during our 2 nights in Catania. Damiano provided us with sumptuous breakfasts with meat, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit and magnificent pastries. He also helped smooth over a reservation error I had made and printed out some reservations that we needed for the next step in our journey. We are grateful for his help. The property is in a nice part of Catania, with wider streets than some of the older parts of town. It is across the street from a large urban park. There is a grocery store in the same block, and you will get a good tour of Catania coming and going from the town square. Our room was large and well[-appointed. CNN would have been nice on the television The room rate was reasonable.

Room was fairly spacious with comfortable chairs, plenty of decent storage furniture, range of lighting and a large comfortable bed. Also has a mosquito blind, double and secondary glazing and an electrically operated blackout shutter. We didn't like that the room is gloomy during daytime as the trees from the park overshadow the rooms, that the AC is incredibly difficult to understand and that the accommodation is really b&b, there being no public areas for relaxation. The breakfast is a bit limited, sweet filled and plain croissants fruit yoghurts and a little ham and cheese. Coffee and tea were not very good. The receptionist/attendant spoke English, smiled and was helpful but came across as a little surly. When ordering a taxi for us to the airport he seemed confident in the price, availability and time off arrival but when it came to it the taxi was 25 minutes late and charged 30eu rather than the 22 we were advised. Traffic was the explanation but it didn't seem any busier than usual and the journey time was as advised, about 20 minutes. The position is good though, next to the pleasant park, close to via Etna and the botanical gardens and in a reasonable neighborhood.

We liked the central location, we could get to iconic places on foot and that was great. B&B itself unfortunately disappointing. Breakfast was lacking any variety, practically only sweet options. No veggies and only apples and bananas available. Cleanliness of the room seemed questionable . I’m sure we had ants in our room as my daughter left covered in bites and I killed few myself at night. Staff quite friendly and helpful although impossible to get in touch with the place prior to arrival.

Room was excellent with plenty of space. It was comfortable and overlooked Giardini Bellini. There was a Lidl supermarket on the corner. Breakfast was exceptional with fresh filled cornetti, yhoghurts, ham and cheese and your coffee and juices. Damien the front desk host was very informative and helpful. We would recommend this location.
