I deeply enjoyed rambling down the farm access roads and discovered an amazing bonus in the restaurant next door: weekday lunch deal for less than $15 -- including a bottle of their own vineyard's wine! My only issue was with public transit -- the buses in the area are more aspirational than predictable and taxi drivers don't like taking...

"This place is such a gem. It’s incredibly private, surrounded by farm land. Despite its privacy, you are 5 mins from a fantastic local grocery store with local produce and meat. The house is so artistically restored, with beautiful mementos and artifacts around the house. My family really felt like they were staying in a fantastic, beautiful family home for a week. La casa bien, aunque si quieres hacer una fiesta, la sala de fiesta es el recibidor, no hay una sala en si para fiestas. Nosotros éramos un grupo de 10 personas y aunque pone que es apto para este numero de personas, a nosotros se nos ha hecho pequeño, sobretodo la mesa a la hora de comer."

"A very nice hotel, albeit at a price (particularly for in-hotel costs like the bar and restaurants). Friendly and helpful staff (with one exception - perhaps she was having a bad day). Pleasant communal areas (and very attractive main reception area). Good quality and well maintained room. Good location, easy to navigate Barcelona from there."
