Bernard was so communicative and available for questions through Whatsapp, and provided us with numerous tips for making the most of our time in Ireland. "Killarney Avenue is a great hotel. Excellent, Friendly staff with clean rooms. Parking was, as suggested, tight and we were able to secure a place both nights but could be a concern. Hotel and Rooms were both modern and clean. Food was excellent in both the Pub and the Restaurant. One night our room (#220) seemed to have a strong deep fryer smell coming into the bathroom vent. The restaurant was quite busy, front desk confirmed our concern and quickly was able to provide an alternate room for us, which was very much appreciated. Of note Room 220 did not have the odor the first night. It's not the issue, as issues can always arise, it is how the staff deal with a problem and we were very impressed with the extra effort to accommodate us."
