  • Came across the Kootenai Falls stop on the way home from a road trip. Hit it early in the morning so there were only a handful of people. A very easy hike. We stopped the end of May so the water was rushing through. Here in BC there are fences all around edges of cliffs and water. Here there was nothing so you could really enjoy the raw beauty of Mother Nature.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located between Trail and Nelson. We hike in all 3 areas. Carey is a wonderful person who welcomes you to the cottage. I will definitely stay here again.
