Perfect Tuscan summer stay

Our stay at Locanda in Tuscany was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, the hotel offers breathtaking views that capture the essence of this picturesque region. The staff were exceptional, anticipating our needs and promptly responding to all our requests, from arranging wine tastings to making dining reservations. The rooms were beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities that blended seamlessly with the rustic charm of the surroundings. Our daughter was particularly enchanted by the unique bathtub in the living area, which provided stunning views of the rolling hills. The swimming pool was another highlight, offering a serene spot to relax with drinks on the deck chairs. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a gourmet experience. The need for reservations is a testament to its popularity, and the cuisine did not disappoint. We savored excellent meats and other Italian delicacies, complemented by an extensive wine list. Breakfast was a delightful buffet with a wide variety of options, including made-to-order eggs, enjoyed in the lovely outdoor seating area. Practical amenities were equally impressive, with ample free parking and an easily accessible location via maps. Overall, our stay at Locanda in Tuscany was a perfect blend of luxury and authentic Tuscan charm, earning a well-deserved 10 out of 10.

Traumhafte Atmosphäre mit kleinen Störfaktoren

Die Location ist traumhaft! Wir waren vollkommen begeistert von der wunderschönen Anlage, der faszinierenden Umgebung, der geschmackvollen Einrichtung und dem eleganten "Vibe" der Unterkunft. Das Personal war freundlich und auch das Essen war top! Ebenso die Sauberkeit. Der einzige Nachteil des Zimmers war die relativ starke Zugluft und ein etwas störendes Rauschen aufgrund des Kamins im Raum. Für eine oder zwei Nächte OK, bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätten wir uns wohl beschwert. Wir hatten zudem etwas Pech, da während des Dinners ein Videoshooting stattfand und die romantische Atmosphäre durch laute Drohnen über den Köpfen der Gäste gestört wurde. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir durch Gestank eines Pestizides, das frühmorgens auf der ganzen Anlage versprüht wurde, geweckt. Die beiden Situationen können zwar vorkommen, jedoch hätten wir für ein eher luxuriöses Etablissement wie dieses eine Entschuldigung oder ein Entgegenkommen erwartet.

Simply beautiful

We had a lovely stay at Locanda in Tuscany. All the staff were fantastic and the views are just beautiful. The pool is very picturesque if a little bit cold but you soon get used to it. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was just perfect - the decor lovely; bed very comfortable and shower was fantastic. The breakfast was very good - traditional italian cakes with eggs available on request. We had to leave very early on the morning of our departure and we were left a small bag of food for the morning in our room the night before. The only thing that was a slight disappointment for us was the food in the restaurant in the evening - everything was very salty; quite expensive and not a huge amount of choice. You are not limited as although this is secluded, with a car, places like Bagno Vignoni and Pienza are easily accessible where you can get a lovely meal for a slightly cheaper cost. All in all, this would not deter us from staying here again as the hotel itself is simply beautiful.

매우 멋진 곳입니다. 스탭도 굉장히 친절합니다. 주니어 스위트 객실 2개 중 하나는 스위트로 업그레이드 해주셔서 2층을 사용했는데 매우 좋았습니다. 다른 하나인 주니어 스위트는 풀장하고 가깝고 객실은 훌륭하나 벌레가 많아 아쉬웠다고 합니다.

This place is amazing. It is so beautiful and relaxing. The staff are exceptional. In the restaurant there, they were so accommodating for my gluten free food request. I did not feel deprived one little bit as they made me special breakfast items and dessert for dinner! The only thing that was wrong was that we couldn’t stay longer!

A Tuscan dream come true

We had an absolutely lovely stay. We turned up later than we expected and Claudia was so helpful. The place is amazing. It has been lovingly restored with stylish touches. The rooms are quiet and well appointed and exactly like the photos. The staff are some of the most friendly we came across in Italy. We thoroughly recommend this as a great place to explore tuscany.
