"We loved our tent, but it was in need of some repairs. There was wood that needed to be nailed/screwed so it was squeaking in the wind all night. We used a towel to wedge and mostly stop the noise. "We had a brief stay at Hotel Mir Octavio and it was perfect for us. Our ferry unluckily arrived hours late so we had very little time to explore Algeciras. Check in was a breeze. We got an excellent night’s sleep - the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The location of the hotel was great - we ventured out into the city for some breakfast before our 11am bus. We easily walked into town and visited the square, the old city wall, and a market. There were numerous cafes open and offering breakfast items. The bus station is next to the hotel so we easily hopped on our bus on time. I highly recommend this hotel for the location, the price, and the comfort. "
