"We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful cabin in the woods. It’s an oasis away from the world, but still close to the city. You are in the forest so you wake up with the sound of birds and a view of pines, in fact I went to sleep with an owl and woke up to a woodpecker! It’s within the owner’s finca/house grounds but has a private position slightly higher in the valley so it feels secluded, but you can park your car 10 metres away so it’s super easy to get to. The cabin has all the basics you need, and everything is lovely – so many little special details. It’s eco-charm with modern comforts, glamping wilderness vibes with hot forest shower and toilet. The area is great with lots of walks, a nearby town for dinner or lunch, and a forest sculpture park on the doorstep. We hope we can come back one day."
