"The property is very remote, tucked into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, there was no direct access to the lake. The cabin was simple and rustic. Since we were just staying overnight, it worked out very good for us.We had breakfast at the local restaurant where we were seated on the back porch overlooking the lake. The food was excellent and a great start to the day."

"Overall, it was a good experience. Location to ferry and downtown mackinaw was good. Cabin was good size for what we wanted. Right on the beach. However the beach is very rocky. Make sure to have water shoes for the kids. Check in was good, except being told we could check in at 1pm and showing up at 3pm and the unit was being cleaned at that time. "On balance this was a nice stay. It is a very isolated campsite, apart from the other cabins of course. Good for unplugging. The cabin was cute and tidy. The breeze coming in through the windows was nice. The toilet and shower were adequate. Only negative was bugs on the kitchen table and it's not well suited for lake/beach access; there are better options in this area if you're about the beach and water."
