We decided to celebrate a less traditional Thanksgiving this year, and we were grateful to find this beach condo with the advertised sunrise view just a short walk from gorgeous, deserted Carolina Beach. We accessed the beach itself easily from the public entry points and throughly enjoyed walking and shell seeking at low tide.
Sleeping and cooking arrangements were ideal, especially for the price. The five of us baked pies, made fish tacos, used the on-site waffle maker, and enjoyed beach walks and a puzzle. Our only disappointment was not being able to watch movies and TV as a whole family in the very comfortable living area with the largest (but not connected, not smart) TV. There were smart TVs with access to streaming services in all 3 bedrooms, however.
Heads up: the unit is a 3rd (4-story) floor walk-up, and the designated parking is pretty narrow. For serious cooking, you might want to bring your own knives and any special cookware. There is a Publix within a very short drive on the island, and a mini-mart and coffee shop just a few blocks' walk.
