Great Beachfront Carlsbad Location

Wonderful stay overall. Clean rooms and property in a fantastic location. We were in one of the top floor units, only minor complaint was the shared balcany lacked a bit of privacy with only a small partial wall. Also, master bedroom lack outlet for charging on both sides of bed. Other than that, wonderful stay and would certainly recommend highly.

Great location/view

Location is great - right on the water and walkable to everything. Amenities and furnishings are very sparse; less furnishings than shown in pictures. Limited kitchen items; no coffee pods for Keurig, no salt & pepper or any other kitchen items that you’d expect in a vrbo. Sheets and towels low quality; not luxurious by any means. Rented in December so a bit chilly and no rugs in unit for warmth. No thermostat or HVAC. Two small wall heaters. Parking is tough at the beach so was a hassle every day to find parking depending on time of day you are coming/going . Should include parking with rental; not an extra!

Beautiful view and stay

Beautiful stay! The best location and views! The space is bright and airy and is a lovely place to be. The beds and pillows were comfortable and everything was clean minus a few minor things in the kitchen. There are plenty of places to store your items while on your trip, and you are also provided beach chairs and an umbrella. The parking is not free—it’s $25 a night which we did not find out about until arrival. The only complaint was the communication. We did not receive check in details until the day of via text, and never got any more information. We were told we would get an email but never did and I never received any responses from the property manager through VRBO. When I asked about checkout, I never got a response through the app or through texting. Then the cleaning crew showed up at 9 even though checkout wasn’t until 10 according to the booking. Everything else was amazing and I would stay again, but just be prepared to not communicate as though you are staying at a hotel.
