「Our hosts Cathy and Paul were very warm and welcoming. Mon Petit Cottage met and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast options were good. Great countryside and Huntington Castle is close by and well worth a visit.」

「Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. 」

「Check in was very efficient. The electronic cards to our rooms were already prepared and waiting for us. Although not new, the property was well maintained and everything worked well. Lee was the receptionist, bartender and waitress and did an outstanding job. Our dinners in the restaurant on site were all very good. Breakfast was made to order and was also excellent. 」

「Great modern hotel in a very small town off of the highway. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Dublin after visiting Dublin for a couple of days on our way further south to the Ireland coast. This was a perfect place for that. This was a perfect hotel for that. It was a very large facility with a great morning breakfast and a nice onsite bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when exploring the countryside in the area.」

「We stayed in one of the outside entry newer suites. It was clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very modern. There was an abundance of charging wall outlets, which was very convenient. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when visiting Kilkenny. 」
