「The property is going through a complete Reno. The room we stayed in was super clean. There was no bathroom vanity, no chair for the desk, no coffee maker. The front desk attendant was super good as we checked in late in the evening and he was helpful with luggage getting us to our room. Will stay there again. 」

「While this is an older motel on the outside, the staff and cleanliness make the Thunderbird motel a great value. Free breakfast with Hot Coffee is always a plus. Within walking distance of the Star Hotel which has great Basque Food. Looking forward to staying here again the next time passing through Elko.」

「The rooms were clean and the common areas were nice. The breakfast was closed down 15 minutes early and we had a staff member unlock our door and try to come in just before 11:00 am and a second staff knock on the door even though check out time was noon. Felt rushed to be out early. 」

「No soap in the bathroom. Room was very clean, but smelled a little bit. I opened the windows and the smell dissipated in a few minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved their classic neon sign - seriously!」

「The room was at the end and quiet but at 1 am they moved a family of 18 to all the room next to me and it took over an hour screaming kids banging it was awful the lady at the desk the next day responded to my email she was amazing moved me to an upgraded room didn’t let them move anyone above me and kept it quiet for the rest of my stay. She went above and beyond to make sure they fixed the issue. So if it wasn’t for her I would never go back. 」

「This property seems to be work housing for Union Pacific so is very minimal in amenities outside what's in your room. It was fine for my purposes but I was surprised by how little they had as far small lobby, no business center, no breakfast, no common area, etc. Price was fair given the dates stayed and room was comfortable.」
