Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

"Nothing"

Barceló Bávaro Palace - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful resort and very well maintained. Adding easier access to the entrance and expanding vegetarian options would make the stay even better."

The Royal at Atlantis
10/10 Excellent
"5 days at the Royal. Everything was excellent except the afternoon Security guards treating like crap as you returned to your suite. Dining was hit or miss. Best restaurants would serve one great meal and a second you couldn't eat . Loved the water park. Beach was overcrowded with locals trying to rent you a jet ski."

Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island - Adults Only - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Quetel the receptionist was fantastic, got a room issue cleared up. Bartenders were very good. Be careful renting b harborview suites, there are no windows to open or a balcony. Room is bigger and bathroom luxurious, but at the expense of no view. We wanted the air and balcony."

Ocean Blue & Sand Beach Resort - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"I would give this hotel 3–4 stars. The property itself is beautiful, very clean, and the customer service from the staff was friendly and professional. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The beach closes at 6:00 PM, even though it is still daylight outside, and the pool closes at 6:50 PM while it is still completely bright. Guests should be able to enjoy these amenities later in the evening. The nightclub was another disappointment. The DJ played almost exclusively Puerto Rican music all night. Very few people were dancing because there was little variety. A more diverse music selection would create a much better atmosphere for all guests. The food was inconsistent. At the steakhouse, the New York strip was very tough and looked more like a regular beef steak than a proper New York strip. The ribs were also tough, and the “churrasco” was not actually skirt steak but a different cut of meat. At the Italian restaurant, the pasta was undercooked, and the risotto rice was hard as well. Another issue was the transportation around the resort. The shuttle trains that take guests to the beach and guest rooms take too long to arrive. Increasing their frequency would greatly improve the guest experience. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential because it is beautiful, clean, and the staff is welcoming. However, these issues affected our stay, and I hope management addresses them to provide a better experience for the future guests"
