"Parking easy. Staff very friendly. Breakfast average. Room average but sleept very well. The little evening restaurant at the corner. Bistro. Very nice and good food."

It’s an older hotel but they’ve refreshed it where possible and the biggest thing was how clean it was. It’s great value and in a good location. "The receptionist was really helpful and kindly let us in to our room a little early after a long drive so we could freshen up before going to look around town. All staff pleasant and helpful. The town was a 15 minute walk to all the sites of interest. Breakfast was good and they had gluten free bread. Parking on site. We enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel is starting to look a little worn. If you have trouble with stairs or have lots of luggage request a ground floor room. There is no lift. Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were clean and there was sufficient space. Handy to places of interest and centre of town and train station. Nothing flash but at least 1 competent staff member and they are able to provide a breakfast box if you are leaving early."
