Great experience. We just needed something for one night and this was good. For what it was it was bit more expensive but I guess it was because of the area. Really lovely cliffs around. The owner was lovely, was checking on us when we were bit late and all was good.

A lovely place that is in a great location right by the beach. We had a special request as we were arriving late and were so thankful to our kind host for helping with it. Thank you for being a lovely host and having us. We had an amazing stay and time in Porthcawl.

Pretty good, simple place to stay for a golf outing at Royal Porthcawl. Room and bathroom were small, but comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t much. Good location to restaurants and 5 minute drive to RPGC. Street parking only.

Had a nice stay, no issues at all, great location, the property is tired sould do with an update, the carpet in room 2 could do with changing and fitted by a professional. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk in the room, no shampoo in the shower, bedding all very clean. Would i stay here again? yes most certainly i would.

I was just in a single room, with en suite bathroom. Nothing fancy, and very small (not much room in th other than the bed and a small table), but it worked for my needs. Very convenient to waterfront. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Mary House, Porthcawl

Very easy to get in and get your key. A gentleman came to meet me straight away. The hotel was extremely quiet which was nice and very short walk to the beach and shops. The condition of the room and bathroom was good, but it may need sprucing up in the new year. Overall I was happy and would reccomend this to anyone if they need somewhere cheap and convenient to stay.

Friendly Service and Welcome

Lovely welcome on arrival. Shower was broken and on the floor but fixed by the time we returned. Nice bright room but boiling hot could have done with a fan.opened the windows which we could but very noisy as we were on the street. Talking to people at breakfast who all said the room was boiling. Beds lovely and comfy but couldn't open the bathroom door fully as it was blocked by the double bed - not sure if the beds could be swapped around to make more room? No shower gel or soap provided and we never took any so had to go and buy some - this could be mentioned so people can be prepared? No issue if we had thought. Continental breakfast make your own toast but loads of choices with yoghurt, pan o chocolate, bananas, juice, tea coffee excellent value for money. Good location but no parking we found street space which was lucky as I had a knee injury and couldn't walk far. Pay car parking nearby. All in all good value and good location not far from main shopping street. Thank you :)
