We were staying on a nearby island and came to Capri for one night and stayed at La Residenza for the first time. It is a beautiful hotel, centrally located under a stunning pergola. Everything was easy, from handling baggage to checking in and getting help with a dinner reservation. Fabio was incredibly helpful and made sure that all our questions were answered. We had the best time - would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend!

I never write reviews but this place deserves one. Loved!! Everything is so clean. Room is cleaned twice a day for your comfort if you want. Location location location! It is central so you can walk to everything. Food… you have the option of daily breakfast in bed! Room is spacious and view was superb. A/C worked perfectly!! Staff!!! Amazing.

Beautiful property and a wonderful stay! We were surprised by a free room upgrade at check-in and had beautiful views of the Faraglioni rocks from our balcony. Complimentary breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the customer service was outstanding.

The location is really good for being in the main area of restaurants and hotels. The hotel is easily walkable from the funicular that you can get at the main port (Marina Grande). The lobby and breakfast area is nice and modern with lots of space, and the staff are all very nice. The room decor was quite pleasant and everything was clean and well organised.

Fantastic stay!

Hotel was beautiful and in the perfect location, right near city center. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The included breakfast included eggs & bacon which was a pleasant surprise - all food was as very tasty. Only complaint was that the air conditioning in the room wouldn’t go below 24° and was unable to be fixed leaving us quite uncomfortable when sleeping. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to visit Capri.

The location was very central to Capri and the main Piazza. You can't access the hotel directly by car as it it is in the area shut off to vehicles. All hotels and restaurants near the main capri piazza is in the same situation. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and looked recently updated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Hotel was in a great location around the corner from the designer stores. Quiet section of the Piazza, Augustus gardens 5 min walk. Pepe and Giuseppe were very helpful. I would recommend staying here if you are visiting Capri.

Enjoyed staying at La Residenza. Breakfast amazing and plentiful. Rooms modern and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. I was difficult getting from the Marina to the hotel without help (service offered but very pricey -- and must be the market rate).

Couples vacay

We stayed for 2 night and regret that we didn’t stay for more! We knew that the prices for hotels in Capri were going to be high but La Residenza Capri was worth every euro. Fabio, Pepe and team were warm welcoming and took care of us. It was all the little details that the property & staff does to make it amazing. From the walk through of the room, fresh honeycomb at breakfast to the friendly smiles of all the staff. We absolutely loved our stay, and cannot wait to come back!

Relaxing stay at the Residenza Capri Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at La Residenza Capri on our 2 night stay. Easy location to navigate through the street from the Piazza or bus terminal. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful with things to see and restaurant recommendations. Room was clean, well maintained, and spacious. Balcony view was phenomenal. Nice place to relax. Enjoyed the made to order complimentary breakfast and nightly turn down service. Overall, we would definitely come back here when in Capri.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite during our visit to Capri. The suite was spacious, and the view from the master bedroom balcony was beautiful in the distance. However, there was construction activity nearby, which affected both the overall view and the sense of privacy. Unfortunately, we experienced a safety issue with the master bathroom door. The lock malfunctioned and trapped me inside the bathroom for 3-4 times. Thankfully my family members were in the room and were able to open the door from the outside. This is something the hotel should address as soon as possible. Both bedrooms felt quite dated, especially the bathrooms, which could benefit from renovation and modernization. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was limited and heavily focused on sweet pastries and desserts, with very few savory options. We did not find the breakfast particularly enjoyable. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. They assisted us with our luggage transportation arrangements, which made our arrival and departure much easier. Overall, while the staff provided good service, we felt the hotel did not offer good value for the price paid, especially considering the condition of the rooms and the breakfast quality.

Everything top notch

This hotel was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in, amazing location in the heart of Capri, super clean and beautiful facility, very spacious rooms(we had a junior suite) great breakfast which is not buffet, but like a restaurant you sit and order what you want, amazing view of the ocean as well, also the staff are super helpful , specially Guiseppe who helped me with a suprise birthday with my wife, they give you great recommendation, and treat you like family, you will definitely love your stay here. We couldnt be happier.
