「The hospitality at the Waterstone is top notch. We were greeted by Charmaine, who got us settled and made sure everything was taken care of on our arrival. The next morning we had breakfast out in the garden and pool area. Everything was fresh and delicious, in beautiful surroundings. Load shedding hit during breakfast hours, but Charmaine managed to keep the kitchen running and no one went without hot coffee or toast! Definitely a well run operation. 「A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.」

「学会出張で利用しました。大学のある街。空港からのタクシーは予約しておきました。小さいながら整えられた可愛い庭を過ぎて玄関へ。フロント係は毎日替わりますがどの方も親切で、こちらのつたない英語にも辛抱して対応していただき、当日前日からのツアーやレストラン、交通手段の予約の相談にのってもらえました。空き時間に行ったペンギンのくる浜辺もテーブルマウンテンも喜望峰を含む半島ツアーも大満足です。部屋に置いてある案内に、街中のおすすめレストランが挙げられてて参考になります。清潔さについては何も問題ないです。アメニティは揃ってたと思いますが自分でも持って行きました。朝ごはんはバイキングですが、卵料理は選べて出来立てがテーブルにきます。スーパーは歩いて10分くらいのところにあります。ほかに水とかスナックを置いてるタバコ屋もあるけど地元民さんと距離が近くて少し怖かったかな。でも南アフリカのイメージと違ってとても穏やかな空気の流れるいい街です。夕暮れに染まるワイン畑と山々には心が洗われました。」

「Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.」

Im Obergeschoss Schlafzimmer und Bad. Leider keine Dusche zum inndie Hand nehmen. Regendusche und für die Badewanne kam das Wasser ungewöhnlich aus der Decke.」

「Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the...

「Close to everything you need.」

「個人で滞在するのも、グループで滞在するのもロケーションは便利。ただ、夜の外出は7時を過ぎたあたりで人は歩かなくなるので、要注意。タクシーかレンタカーで外出しかない。入口には２４時間体制でガードマンがいるので安全。 中のスタッフは土日は休みの為、質問があっても週明けまで返答はない。レンタルサイクルはあるが、いわゆるビーチクルーザーなので、遠出向きではない。かごもないので、買い物は自前で運びやすい鞄を用意したほうが良い。町までは約１キ。ロ程度なので、散歩しながら行くのも気持ちいい」
