Nice location

Nice hotel in a central location in Cape Town. The staff was always helpful and nice. The room was quite small, but perfectly ok for us.

I stayed at the BlackBrick Cape Town for two weeks, which made it possible to interact a lot with staff and get an impression of the surroundings. The hotel is clean and quiet. I was upgraded to one of the larger 9th floor apartments with a small balcony. The room was comfortable and kept very neat by housekeeping staff. The desk staff downstairs were always polite and courteous and helped me with everything I needed. Beyond the room, I didn't make use of the other facilities beyond the rooftop terrace and a beautiful, airy room adjacent with large tables that was great for getting work done. My only hesitation in recommending it is that the surrounding neighborhood (in the CBD) is pretty rough, particularly at night.

Overpriced and nit worth it.

If you like wifi and are reliant on this do not stay here. This was possibly one of the worst experiences ive had in all my travels. The pictures make this hotel look a hell of a lot more grand than it truly was. I feel a little cheated and i cut my stay short there and booked into another hotel. The other hotel actually worked.
