Welcome to the Jonathan Hoffman House. Originally built in 1876 this historic farmhouse has been restored and renovated with a French Country interior design. Inside you have the antique charm & original craftsmanship coupled with updated modern amenities to make your stay comfortable.On the ground level you have a gorgeous kitchen complete with new appliances, Italian marble countertops, and an eat-in dining area along with a wall-mounted television to get your day started before the beach. The kitchen flows into the formal dining area along with a stacked washer & dryer. There are new down beach sofas in the main living space with ample room for your entire group to spread out an relax with natural light coming through the skylights.Heading through the barn doors is the ground level’s master bedroom. There’s a fully renovated bathroom with double vanities and a large walk-in shower. In the bedroom you have one queen bed, ornate chandelier, a sitting area + desk, and a rear deck heading out the exterior doorway.Heading back to the kitchen and moving upstairs. At the top of the steps is the front second floor bedroom with a queen bed, wall-mounted television, and sitting area + desk. The renovated full bathroom in the hall on the second floor has a clawfoot tub, walk-in shower, and original cast iron enameled sink. The second bedroom is at the rear of the second floor and has a queen bed and large wall-mounted television.Rounding out the interior is the conditioned third floor attic bedroom. Here you have a queen-sized bed, twin-sized bed, pull-out twin trundle, a television, and sitting area. Each bedroom and living space across house is conditioned with air conditioning/heating min-split systems and have individual controls for each room aside from the second floor bathroom.Outside you have ample parking with a horseshoe driveway that wraps around behind the house on both sides. There’s a large spacious backyard and a small patio/grass area with outdoor seating. Next door is the award winning Turdo Vineyards & Winery and the Jonathan Hoffman Recreation Center. The recreation center has a large soccer field, tennis courts, expansive playground, outdoor exercising stations, and shaded picnic areas. The property is a short 3 minute drive (1.2 mile) to North Cape May’s beaches, an 8 minute drive (3.9 miles) to Cape May’s beaches, and 14 minute drive (6.2 miles) to Wildwood Crest’s beaches. Also nearby is the Lower Township Community Pool.All bookings and lease payments are handled by Coastline Realty LLC for the Jonathan Hoffman House. Please note that the refundable security deposit cannot be paid by credit card, and a tenant cancellation policy applies to every lease. After placing a reservation you will be contacted with the lease and booking information within 24 hours by Coastline Realty to review and confirm your booking.This property supplies pillows & blankets for guests but all guests must remember to bring sheets and towels to use during their stay. Check in is 4:00pm, check out is 10:00am.This property has exterior-only security cameras. Please note prior to booking that this is a historic 1876 farmhouse and while many parts of the home have been updated with new appliances and modern amenities the property does have the "antique charm" and wear from over 140 years of use.If you are bringing one or more dogs during your stay there is a $150 pet fee per dog, please notify us with a message at the time of booking how many dogs and their information. If you are not bringing a pet during your stay, you will not be responsible for Pet Rent. For online booking, your lease will be adjusted accordingly. Please read the list of prohibited dog breeds that follow. Prohibited dog breeds are the following per the property owners insurance policy. Akita, Boxer, Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepard, Giant Schnauzer, Mastiff, Ovtcharka, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Neapolitan Mastiff, Wolf or Wolf Hybrid. Any mix of these breeds or dogs with a bite history are prohibited at the property.
