「The setting is lovely and the hosts are very accommodating. I will say to be careful when trying to swim off the shore. The mud is very deep and hard to get out of. I would recommend getting in and out of the water by using the dock and not trying to walk in and out. Kayaking was beautiful and there are plenty of them to use. 「We were in the region to visit family and for an event. Its hard to find accommodations in this relatively remote area. But we hit the jackpot with this rental. This house is the very best possible accommodation in northern NY. It was situated in stunning location, beautifully constructed and immaculately kept. And the hosts were incredibly helpful, kind and charming! We will stay in this home on every return visit to the area if it is available.」
