Its peaceful setting is an ideal place for a couple to retreat from it all, lose yourself reading your favourite book or exploring the local area. The single-storey accommodation, attached to the owner’s home, is finished to a modern standard, and there is everything you need and more in the fully equipped kitchen complete with breakfast bar and open plan to the living room and dining facilities. The bedroom has patio doors that lead to the shared garden space creating a light and airy atmosphere, and there is alternative sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room if needed.
Situated in the quiet village of Kingston, there is a local pub serving delicious food just 300 yards from the property, and for full amenities such as shops, a pharmacy, more restaurants and pubs, you have the town of Bridge just a short drive away. Just 7 miles from Canterbury, The Annexe offers a great base to visit this historical city, with its cathedral, Canterbury Tales, the city walls, Marlowe Theatre for entertainment, a vast array of international restaurants and high street shopping. If you are looking to visit one of the Kentish coastal spots, head to the much loved seaside town of Whitstable or visit the White Cliffs of Dover over the sea front, both under 20 miles away. Beach 12 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

We had a lovely five day stay in Kingston, just a short drive from Canterbury.
We had a lovely five day stay in Kingston, just a short drive from Canterbury. We were able to drive to Birchington and Margate, visiting relatives. Along with a visit to the docks, and surrounding towns and villages.
