Great location, and cute little house with nice deck/patio area. Accommodations say would sleep 4 but it would be a very tight fit for four. My sister and I vacation on the Oregon Coast every year and we were looking for a new place to come back year after year and were so hoping this would be it. With a little personalized touch and attention to detail this place would be awesome. The instructions they provide for items like turning on heat, etc. are generic, and did not work for the cottage we were in. When we called them we got a nice woman who just read the instructions we just read that didn't apply. Someone came over and apparently it was an electric burning stove, not the thermostat that controlled the heat, or a WOOD burning stove as stated in the instructions and there was no way to adjust it so we just left it on the whole time which made it very warm at times. The biggest issue was the sheet on the bed was stained, when I called them to ask for a clean fitted sheet, instead of replacing it by making up the bed they dropped the sheet on the kitchen table. Fair enough, but when I went to replace the fitting sheet with the new clean one, there was another fitted sheet underneath it with a yellowish stain. Very discouraging! The cottage also appeared to be cleaned up awhile ago, or not very well because there was dust/dirt in the corner by the bed, and small insect bodies throughout. Again, the cottage itself and location is awesome, I just think the owners need to put a little more personalized touch into it and it would be great and certainly bring back loyal customers. Even though the customer service team was very responsive, you got the feeling you were calling some corporation not the actual owners to assist. We had a nice stay despite this but wanted so bad for it to be 'our place' to go in coming years, but because of the issues we encountered, it is not likely.
