Sunrise central

Bright, cozy and traditional – Suite 2 at Casa Perla will make you feel instantly at-home. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite has second-floor oceans views and a private balcony for you to bask in the sea breeze, watch the sun rise over a cup of hot coffee, or snag some shade with a book in the afternoon. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a memory foam mattress and a large en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed with memory foam mattress and a single bed. This property comes fully equipped with everything you need to relax and unwind, like air conditioning, a modern kitchen with all the amenities, and spacious living areas.

The Space:
Casa Perla Suite 2 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located on the second floor of Casa Perla.

This suite has a master bedroom with a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom (shower, sink and toilet), the second bedroom has a king size bed and a twin size bed. The main bathroom has a sink, toilet, bathtub and shower. Large full kitchen that is great for entertaining. A bar to sit at the island and also a dining area that seats six people. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Private patio areas overlooking the ocean. Access to enjoy the shared roof top patio that has a very large sun tanning/lounging area and a pool. Can't beat the sun and the view from this area of the house!

This house is split into three separate units. There are two – two bedroom suites and one bachelor style suite (as noted above, this page is for the second floor 2 bedroom suite only).

Guest Access:
Guests from all three units will have access to the roof top patio and pool area.

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is local and very friendly and it's a little dead-end street that is off the main road but still close to everything you need.

On the days you don't feel like making your own coffee and breakfast there is a very popular place just a block away, The Mango Café. We have a large grocery store that is walking distance from our house which will have everything you need including a liquor section, bakery, deli, beach accessories and lots of import food for the days that you are craving something from home.

A quick cab ride from the famous Playa Norte. Featured in numerous reviews as being one of the top 10 beaches in the world!

NOTE : The issue with the dogs across the street has been resolved. While we still have the authentic sounds of Mexico, which could include barking dogs, the dogs referenced in past reviews have been removed.

Getting Around:
A popular way to get around the island is by renting golf carts, scooters or bicycles. You can also get around very easily by taxi.

Great view and per friendly

Property was clean on the inside, great view of the ocean, like it was pet friendly and beach towels were provided. Walking distant to local restaurants, grocery store and mountain views.I understand it's different than the US but the pack of dogs surrounding us and jumping into our golf cart was a bit scary when we arrived. Just be aware when you visit, a pack of dogs roam the streets at night. There was some difficulty finding parking for the golf cart, neighbors told us not to park in certain areas of the street. It rained one night and woke up to the ceiling leaking but I messaged the host and it was fixed.Another thing, cleaning lady visited too often, disturbing our stay and dog. That's why we went with VRBO and not a hotel, so the dogs wouldn't be bothered by housekeeping. Overall it was a good stay, clean water was provided, host responded quickly and the balcony view was great.

A place to reflect

This was a wonderful property to stay at for our family. Location was amazing - away from the busy hub of tourists and daily visitors from Cancun, the place is very spacious and clean, and the views are breathtaking. It’s a perfect place to disconnect from daily life and enjoy the beauty and sound of the waves. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating. Check-in process is seamless, recommendations for activities and vetted vendors are great.

Fabulous rooftop

Loved the rooftop pool and the stunning view. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. Lots of space, good AC and WiFi. Clean and convenient with good communication from property management. We enjoyed our stay.

Just perfect!

Us and another couple friend stayed here a few nights. It was the perfect location! The charm of the unit was unprecedented. It was walking distance to lots of great food and the view was phenomenal. We loved it! I hope we can come back one day!

The view of ocean was beautiful. The location was ducked off on a dead end and wasnt the best looking area. There was a leak in the kitchen ceiling and water all over floor an stove. The ac in the living room did not cool it off. The rooms were a good size comfortable beds.

Amazing stay

We stayed here with another couple and we really enjoyed it. The neighborhood is sweet and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. The kitchen was well-stocked and the check-in process was really simple. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and views.

Lovely place for a group!

We had 2 couples and one single and shared the top 2 suites. Suite 2 was spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean! We spent plenty of time lounging on the rooftop. The location was prime to get to the North or South coasts easily, and there were lots of great restaurants and bars walking distance to the home as well. The owners were helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay

Very nice property, terrific ocean view, lots of places to eat close by. Only thing we had an issue with is the neighbor hood dogs barking at 6:00 am and occasionally in the early evening. There are dogs in the unit beside this building and across the street. They don’t bother you on the street just noisy at times.

Casa Perla

Great place. Marla was very responsive with any questions and all our needs. The view is spectacular! The Casita is in a quiet neighborhood (except at night - bring ear buds or sound machine for barking guard dogs). Casa Perla is very comfortable - great beds and a super clean, comfortable place. The large local grocery store is fantastic! Rent bikes from Bici express - a few blocks, go to church down the street at the most beautiful small church with the most incredible view! Capilla de Guadalupe. If you stay here plan on walking, biking or renting a golf cart. It's about a 50 min walk to either side. Golf carts have become very expensive but we found the local bus to be a great option ($1 a ride). The best place to snorkel and hang out for us was Garafon di Castilla which we preferred to Playa Norte - more local, less crowded, had showers, restaurant, bathrooms and snorkeling from the beach (150 pesos per person - $8). Mexico is more expensive than it used to be - inflation like the US - so we found it to be more expensive than expected so we found having a place to cook by breakfast and make lunches a bonus. We enjoyed our stay!

A beautiful Casa

The Casa is just as beautiful as in the pictures. The furnishing are in good shape. The location is in a local neighborhood which is unique the church at the end of the street is beautiful. Our only problem with our stay were the dogs across the street. I know the owner of the Casa does not have any control over them. But five of the seven nights the two dogs were on the roof of their house and bark at least seven hours a night. We had to use headphones because of the noise. If it wasn't for the dogs we would have rated the stay as a 5-star.

Fantastic week in paradise

My husband and I along with our daughter and son in law had a fantastic week on the island while staying at Casa Perla Suite 2. Everything was exactly as shown, entry/exit was easy and the additional assistance of airport to house transfers and back was excellent. Golf cart is a must and is a blast in itself. Take your water shoes so you can explore the rocky beach below the house. Locals are very friendly. Best restaurant is less than a block away with 42 Coffee and Bistro right around the corner beats Mango Cafe in our book. We liked Caribbean Garden right by 42 Coffee and also Carribean Brisas the best. LOVE LOVE LOVE this vacation and will definitely be back. We felt very safe the entire time.

Great spot right next to a cafe and church

It was a great place to stay. The area is great and the neighborhood was quiet. The sounds of the waves and the sunrise was beautiful combination. Communication and amenities listed were great. Hoping to be back soon.

We really enjoyed the space and location. The view is beautiful, and the furnishings were comfortable. Since the location is in a quiet part of the island, we rented a golf cart to get around. It was a quick ride to get to the restaurants and beach on the North end.

Beautiful View of the Sea

The Apartment was very comfortable. Located on the seaside to enjoy the nice breeze and fantastic view. Very clean, comfy beds, air conditioning, and lots of space to spread out. Pet-friendly other reviews mentioned barking dogs in the night but it wasn't really a problem. local neighbors were very nice. Dead end street so no night traffic very chill. we arrived early and were able to leave our bags with the cleaners. The rooftop was nice for a dip in the little pool and watching the sunrise.

Nice hidden gem

Place was very clean and in a quiet area. Good restaurants nearby and good ocean view in the morning. Had a great time in the pool with out 8 month old as well!
