I stayed in this room on rent and had a very good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The place was quiet and well maintained. Staff person at reception was really nice. Room was dated but clean. The bed was comfortable. Good Wi-Fi. It was good for one-night and was the cheapest accommodation I could find during Spilt Milk festival.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa (#279). The unit was very dirty. Mouldy curtains in one of the rooms, very dusty around the skirting and carpet. It hasn't had a proper clean in a very long time. We have stayed at Sundown many times previously and it's never been this bad. Even though the villas are looking a bit tired and in need of refresh, they are comfortable, spacious and location is quiet and close to shops.

The lay out of the unit was really nice and worked well for our family and it was cleaned on a surface level but it hadn’t had a deep clean for a very long time. There were cobwebs in the rafters, garbage left from previous guests under the single bed and in the bed side tables and the blanket had old blood stains on them while the shower door didn’t work properly. The carpet and drapes and had seen better days and were also in need of a deep clean. We really wanted to love this place as it was so convenient for us but unfortunately we couldn’t. So much untapped potential

This property was perfect for our stay and very comfortable. There were ants in the kitchenette on our first morning and there were some stains on the curtains and the back of the sofa. The beds were very comfortable and even though it was cold for our stay, the bedding and accommodation was very warm. We would stay here again. Thank you :)

The staff are great. Very clean. Quiet people. It was very cold in Winter. The air con didn’t warm the villa well. I would like to visit again. However, Summer and Spring is best. The pool & BBQ area are kept extremely clean.

Won’t Recommend!

Unfortunately, we had to canceled our stay in this villa. What a waste of time, drove all the way from Sydney to have a break for the kids School holidays but upon checking into the room/villa we are welcomed with an awful smell. Mouldy, dusty, old kinda smell the place are not clean properly it has full of thick dust everywhere, carpet are dirty and so much stains, the bed had already shrank and outdated, the bed runner/blanket is very dirty it is unwashed I’m sure for a long time. The curtains are very mouldy it is very obvious and visible to everyone because you can clearly see it from outside too through the glass wall, even our kids had noticed it. Even though we did not spend a night from this property from our 3 nights booking, this is an fyi especially if you are traveling with kids it’s not very good hygiene at all. I appreciated the owner offered us to cancelled our booking after checked in, for this we are happy and we booked for hotel in the city instead.
