"The hotel itself was nice enough but we were very disappointed on arrival to find that the bar and the restaurant were both closed for reasons my Spanish was not good enough to understand. The promised restaurants in the village turned out to also be closed but we were eventually able to find some snacks at a bar. Having specifically booked a place with bar and restaurant it is very annoying to have to traipse around finding something to eat after a day's travelling. "

"Wonderful place along the Camino, the owner is wonderful super lovely. The property is gorgeous and the view of the sunrise from the bedrooms is just perfect. The restaurant below is great as well, quite the varied menu for the size of the town. Breakfast is at whatever hour you require as the owner will ensure she is there when you tell her you’ll have breakfast. Truly one of the most incredible places along the Camino."

"Unfortunately it was fiesta night, music played right outside our window from 8pm until 4am ! I can imagine it could be quieter in low season but still noisy in summer with all the tourists. Very close to all the bars. "

"Une première en Auberge nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience, aucun service hôtelier requis dans cet établissement ! Chambre très petite pour un couple et une adolescente plus un chien (berger australien). La propreté laisse à désirer même s'il y a eu un passage de femme de chambre pour 2 nuitées. Le lit d'une personne pour une ado pas du tout confortable et une chaleur abominable car pas de grande aération une toute petite fenêtre. Service restauration très chère pour un repas du soir et...

"Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."
