SEAVIEW ON BURTON: This Tudor style home sits above a Monterey pine forest sweeping a half mile down to the ocean, one of the few vacation homes in the area which borders a forest preserve. Enjoy a daytime stroll to the ocean or the views from the decks, all west ocean facing. After a spectacular sunset, watch your favorite program in the living room alongside an evening fire.

BATTERY-BACKED POWER. With the home's Tesla Powerwall battery backup system charged by solar, enjoy a worry free winter stay - you'll have heat and light even if the rest of the neighborhood doesn't. An eero mesh wi-fi network means that guests' internet and streaming services are second to none.

Guests are within minutes of scenic walking trails through pine-forested Strawberry Canyon,' which lies directly behind the property. The beach is an easy 15-minute walk through the woods and along quiet residential streets. You can pick through the tide pools at nearby Lampton Cliffs park, or walk along the boardwalk bluff trail or on the miles of forest and marine terrace paths of the stunningly beautiful public Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.

Quiet, spacious with an amazing view!

Six high school girlfriends on an annual weekend away. This house was perfect for our needs. Bedrooms are spacious, with the main bedroom having a deck with amazing views. Main floor with another deck and BBQ.dining room was the right size

Great place in a great location

Great house, nicely appointed. Location was fabulous for walking and cycling - easy to walk through the trees to the water and enjoy all the nice close-by hiking in Cambria. The owner was great at communication and the property had two king sized beds - which is great for two couples and very hard to find.The non ensuite bathroom was a little dated and dark - not a showstopper for us - but a little room for improvement. We would happily return.

Awesome Gem

Wonderful stay. Host was communicative and helpful across the board. Check-in was easy breezy. Location is unreal- gorgeous walk through the woods to the beach and ~40 minute drive to downtown Paso Robles. Cambria is my new happy place.

Idyllic secluded place.

We had a wonderful stay here. So peaceful and relaxing. Some may prefer being closer to the beach but for us, being in such a secluded, natural forested space was quite heavenly. The house is comfortable and a real haven at the end of a day.

Cambria Ocean View Tudor

House is in a very beautiful and quiet location in the woods, just as described. It was comfortable for 5 adults and beds were comfortable. Wildlife (birds, squirrels, and deer), ocean view, and star gazing kept us happy!

Seaview

We had a lovely stay. Seaview has a beautiful view of the ocean and is so conveniently located. The house is nicely appointed and the on-site manager was not intrusive. I do wish there was a television in the living room/common area as we were there over a big football weekend and watching in the master bedroom was not ideal. Overall, I'd be delighted to stay again!

All photos and description don't do justice to this fine house. A real gem. Tranquil, backing up to a forest preserve with a view of the sea after the morning mist cleared. We will return!

Quiet & Beautiful Home Away From Home

The location, the house, the neighbors, and the host were all great! There were a few early hiccups that were, in all honesty, my fault (always read EVERYTHING before booking), but James was gracious and willing to work through my misses to make our stay amazing. Minus some cobwebs and floors that could have been a wee-bit cleaner (oh, and some aluminum foil would've been nice :-) ) the house was perfect and afforded us a great place to return after our daily adventures. HIGHLY recommend this home and host and we hope to get the chance to return one day! THANKS, JAMES!

Best place in Cambria!

Beautiful house, better than the pictures. Clean, well organized. We planned on having dinner in local restaurants , but the house was so amazing we chose to hang out on the deck. We ate dinner at the house 3 out of 4 days. The deck has a great view of the ocean and you can hear the waves! The sunset and stars are incredible. Beautiful wooded setting, private and quiet. James, the host, was very responsive and gave us heads up of local events. The house is decorated with original paintings from a local artist. We met the artist in Cambria who was very fun and interesting. 5 minute drive to Moonstone beach, Cambria, very close to great wineries in Paso Robles. We will definitely stay here again.

Our Cambria Stay

Overall the property and the home was lovely. Check in was delayed a little, because the wrong code was given. This was rectified in a short amount of time. A few things like shampoo, blow dryer, aluminum foil, saran wrap and a step stool could be added to make it a little easier for guests. (We're short!) These are usually on site at most air b & bs we've stayed. Not a problem if we had known to bring our own. These views of the pines and ocean are beautiful. We only saw 1 little squirrel on the property, but many turkeys on the road leading up to the house. We had a wonderful 3 nights! Thank you James.

Relaxing stay in Cambria

The house was clean and the description and pictures were very accurate. Communication with the manager was good, very detailed directions and easy check in. I like that we were able to park in the garage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need if you wanted to cook in. I can't rate the view of the ocean because it was foggy/cloudy our entire visit and was never visible. We did enjoy all the trees, birds, turkey and deer. As stated in other reviews there is not a TV in the main living area downstairs. There is a TV in the master bedroom with a small sitting area and one in another bedroom. Also, the stairs are a bit steep, so if anyone in your group has trouble with stairs take that into consideration.

Cozy Retreat Nestled in the Trees

James’ home is a calm, comfortable, and cozy retreat nestled in the trees. It was perfect for three moms to rejuvenate before picking up our kids from camp. We loved the beautiful pine floors and high ceilings. Evenings were spent in the vaulted living room next to the fireplace, creating a super cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the labels on the cabinets and drawers were really helpful. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy, too. Some of us had to work during our stay in Cambria, so we really appreciated the fast internet and the spaciousness of the house – plenty of room for everyone to find their own work nook. Our favorite spot was definitely the deck. We spent a lot of time out there with hot cups of tea, chatting, and watching the amazing variety of birds. We took walks around the neighborhood, and although we didn’t get a chance to walk the Strawberry Loop trail nearby, we’ll save that for next time! James was an awesome host, with clear instructions and even had the lights on for us when we arrived late in the evening. Thanks, James, for sharing your home with us!

Great location.

Very charming home in a beautiful neighborhood. The house was very spacious and kitchen was huge. The location is beautiful because it's surrounded by trees way up on a hill, we saw deer and wild turkeys many times when we drove from town to the house and I enjoyed looking at all of the other unique homes on the way to this house. All the bedrooms were big (very large master bedroom) and great natural light in the kitchen and living room. There were a few things I wish could have been a little different. We couldn't get into the house for about an hour after arriving because we were given the wrong code for the door (an innocent mistake but really frustrating after our long drive). Also a few things I wish were taken care of, lots of cob webs on the deck and a few in the dining room, we wanted to use the bbq but the ignitor wasn't working, a Christmas decoration in the living room in the middle of summer, and I found old rusty paint cans under the sink in the bathroom when I went to put something down there. Of course these things were minor and we still enjoyed this beautiful home.

The rental was very comfortable with unique and high quality materials used throughout the home. The beds in the master bedroom and second biggest bedroom were very comfortable. The view from the decks - stunning of ocean and forest. The kitchen was large and beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay there and would absolutely return for a visit.

We were in the area to attend our niece's wedding at the Cambia Pines Lodge. Our two adult daughters were with us. This beautiful property was perfect for our needs. The host was very helpful, the home was spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful view.
