"This was our first experience of a holiday in the UK , The resort was in a lovely location and it had a few facilities for the children. Parking was difficult as it was busy, but we managed. We walked to our chalet , the chalets we past on the way look very well kept and clean on the outside. When we arrived at ours it was covered in spiders webs , the bench and picnic table outside had not even been wiped. As we entred , it seemd like they had new carpets,. 10/10 Excellent

"We booked a balcony room overlooking the harbour with our dog. The staff on reception were wonderful. In our room there was a doggy welcome gift, treats toy poop bags. The room was large and comfortable. Robes slippers and a fan. We should have prebooked a table in the pub as it was busy, and dogs not allowed in the gorgeous restaurant, so thankfully we sat outside. Food and views were great. Close enough to stroll into town. Small green area where the dog could do her business at night and in the morning with handy bins. Hotel is very characterful. I would like to stay in the Florence Nightingale room next time. Parking around the hotel. Highly recommend."

"Lovely hotel with restaurant downstairs, useful for bed and breakfast and getting dinner in the evening. Nice staff, had a nice sized room. Lovely sea views from front of property. Easy access by walking 10 minutes or less by car to Penzance train station and the town. Great if you want to explore the area, st Ives 25 mins by train and st Michael’s Mount 3 miles are nearby with great transport links by bus and train."

"This is a nice hotel well situated for Fistral Beach and for access to the town. Our room had a great view of the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast service with the polite and attentive staff. The housekeeping was a little hard to come by - you need to request it which is fine but nobody told us! However the rooms were very clean. This is an old building which was not designed with AC and whilst we had a fan to keep noir room cool I think it could be inconsiderable in very hot weather. Check out at 11am seems a little early but there is a lounge you can stay in."
