The place was very clean and the host was sure to check to make sure we had everything we needed. Plenty of room for everyone and it’s a quick drive to campus. We really enjoyed our stay.
Our first experience with vrbo and it was great! Our host was very responsive and helpful. The house was very nice. This made our vacation very nice and comfortable.
Very clean on the inside. Everything we needed was there except for personal items of course. Close to the lake. Just over-all comfy.

Cute cabin style house located close to downtown Calumet. The location was also right off the highway which was very convenient. The property was very clean and had a nice kitchen area. The property owner had great communication before, during and after hour stay! Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect little spot for a nice weekend getaway!
We were in town for the spring football game at Michigan Tech. The house and location was perfect for us…so much charm!
Becky and her family were super helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!
The property was as advertised. It had all of the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We would book it again in the future (4 people = 2 teens + 2 adults).
Wanted to make a short trip up to the Kewanee for a quick surprise trip for the girlfriend. The house was as advertised and met all my expectations. Perfect location for tons of activities around the area. Thanks you!
This was a very nice place to stay. Three good sized rooms on the main floor, so there was plenty of space to spread out. Three nice sized bedrooms as well upstairs. The kitchen was well furnished. A bonus for me was a full-sized shower and tub combination in the bathroom! The place was very clean and there is plenty of parking. Although right next to Highway 41, the road noise was not an issue. A good value for the money. With all these factors I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay while in the Copper Country.
Love the area. Is located on a highway as stated. The stairs are a bit narrow without a rail, but it is an older house. Super cute 2 main room bedrooms have mostly comfy mattresses. The bathroom is small. But it is a quant cabin like feel. Appliances, kitchen and bathroom have been updated and are super cute! Would stay again. Recommend for people that all don’t have to go to bathroom at the same time! It of older construction, along with the whole area! Loved the stay. Thank you
This property is advertised as air-conditioned. In reality, only one upstairs bedroom has a window unit AC. There’s only fans in the other two bedrooms and only one fan for the entire downstairs. It was very warm the days we were in the UP so this was less than ideal.
The layout of this property is three bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. The stairs themselves are steep and narrow. This property is not a good fit for those with mobility issues.
A suggestion to the host would be to provide more extension cords due to the lack of outlets. It would also provide more flexibility on moving fans around.
This property was very clean and the beds comfortable

Right on main highway which made it noisy for sleeping.
One bathroom downstairs - bedrooms all upstairs with steep narrow stairs.
Kitchen/bathroom were satisfactory.
The 3 bedroom VRBO was perfect for our stay. We had enough room to sprawl out and relax and all the right function for our travels. Our host was gracious. Calumet is a great town - situated idealy between Houghton and Copper Harbor. I will look to stay there again.
This was a great house for our needs. I will say the stairs are steep and not great for elderly guest. We did fine but worth mentioning. I loved all the “clean” cleaning products under the kitchen sink. (It felt like home). We built a fire in the fire pit and sat outside and looked at the stars…beautiful!! We even did a little laundry. Highly recommend Shute’s and Carmalitas in Calumet. Both have antique bars and beautiful woodwork. Overall, Great stay.
Stayed there for snowmobile trip. Easy parking for 4 place trailer. Just what we were looking for. Great communication by host. Easy process. Will go back again
Very clean, nice appliances, but short on amenities, and the stairway is a hazard. A few table lamps, real dishes, more than one towel per person, and new bed pillows would help. The twin beds in the third room are kids' bed frames, about a foot off the floor and short for teenagers. I know this is a fairly inexpensive rental, and perhaps its accessories have been depleted since all the good reviews last year, but for a family with teens it was uncomfortable. Attaching a picture of the narrow stairwell with my shoe for scale. The picture does not show the chunk of ceiling you have to duck under in order to descend the steep narrow stairs with poor handrails.
