The location is perfect- right next to a beautiful beach- we went early morning because it does get busy- 5 minute walk from a large selection of restaurants, bars and shops and a 15 minute walk from the marina. "It’s a 3 star no more no less. Room was clean but could have been cleaner. Food was fine - standard AI in Spain. I did feel on arrival that the woman on the desk could have smiled and been more helpful. What let’s this place down is the other guests making a noise at all times if the day and night - shouting in the echoing corridors at 3am and for what when on for hours. Also should have been dealt with by the hotel but wasn’t "
"Clean and nice room, the hotel offered good selection of food and drinks and outside of the hotel there was plenty of restaurants to choose from. One downside is that there is only one beach close to the hotel which was quite small "

starting from checking in. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned and towels changed everyday, air condition worked perfectly. Location is great, walking distance to many beaches, clubs and restaurants. Very nice choice of food for breakfast. Highly recommend "
"The hotel is amazing, perfect for a break away to do nothing and relax. The buffet has a great selection. The staff are attentive and constantly clearing up. The Mediterranean restaurant is okay, the Italian wasn’t very good at all. All inclusive is the way forward for value for money. Would definitely stay at another of the resorts elsewhere. Some bits need a bit of TLC like silicone around shower tray and a few missing tiles in the pool, but nothing to cut yourself on or dangerous. The views into the cove beach are stunning! "

The atmosphere was great, could get a sunbed round the pool any time of day (no need to reserve sunbeds)
The breakfast was excellent, great selection and could always get a table.
The rooftop terrace bar and restaurant was spot on, such a good vibe. Live music from Friday-Sunday.

Marina is a 5 min drive or 25-30 min walk and has loads of restaurant options as well.
Order an airport transfer through the hotel in advance and was roughly 80 euros each way which was cheaper than private transfers.

"It’s located in a quiet are but just a short walk from the restaurants and beaches. We stayed in the annexe on the second floor overlooking the pool. No problem getting sunbeds.
The corridors and rooms are in very good condition and the shower in the bathroom was good. The air conditioning in our room was the best I have had on a holiday - quiet and effective "

"We have really enjoyed our stay at Azul Gardens, as a young couple we wanted 2 weeks of relaxation in a self catering apartment, the facilities allowed us to do exactly that.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly.
I requested a ground floor apartment prior to our arrival, due to being pregnant, the hotel very kindly arranged this for me, with a room right by reception. We were also really grateful for the arrangement they made for our late check out, again with being pregnant in the heat I was really anxious at the thought of not having a room all day, Jose very kindly moved things around for me and made it possible for us to stay.
The location is fantastic, everything is on the doorstep, lovely restaurants and so many small Spar supermarkets. However I would recommend walking down to the end of the road, about a 8 minute walk, to the Hiper Dino supermarket as it’s so much cheaper!
2 gorgeous beaches nearby, Esmeralda doesn’t have sunloungers but Ferrera does. Google maps says Cala Ferrera is a 12 minute walk, it’s not, there’s a cut through you can’t miss and only takes 5 minutes.
A few things to mention is that this is a VERY busy family resort, so if you are looking for peace and quiet round the pool this may not be for you. There are more loungers than parasols so you will need to be down to save a bed with a parasol before 10am if you want one, towels are removed if left unattended. And no ironing facilities "
