"This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "

"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do...

"Staff super friendly and helpful, room was nice and breakfast buffet great. Nice to see some art on the walls and the hotel has good bikes to hire and a good central location. Would stay there again when visiting Setúbal but would be useful to have a luggage room for golf bags or similar on the ground floor as there are no lifts. "
