Not a well known property, hard to find

This is a Residence complex and not a well known hotel. Hired car driver had a difficult time finding. We requested and received non-smoking residences. Room 615 was quite a bit nicer and cleaner than 302. They were cheap and worth what we paid. For those without a sense of adventure or used to different levels of international cleanliness, I wouldn’t recommend. For those looking for a bargain close to airport, this will do the job!

STAY AWAY

We scheduled a hotel shuttle from the airport and was sent a car with no seatbelts. We arrived at almost midnight to discover the Internet was broken. They then sent us to a room with a pile of dirty sheets in the floor and No MATRESS! We went to ask for a new room and the guy didn’t believe us and took us back to the original Room. After he saw there was no bed, he took us to a new room where there was no toilet paper, towels, or any amenities whatsoever! After asking for these items and waiting 15 minutes, I went downstairs where the two men were just chatting and not doing anything. Stay far away from this place!

Mission impossible!

The hotel is almost impossible for anyone including highly experienced and even neighboring Restuarants to find. Really was mission impossible. One night we waited for 2 1/2 hours for food to be delivered and eventually cancelled it but the driver was lost!! Housecleaning and towels are not provided daily. You have to beg and plead for these plus toilet paper. No toiletries provided at all! Oh except a bar of soap after we asked and asked and asked. This is not a 3 star hotel but at best 2 star. The rooms are not so dirty but the quality of cleaning could be better. The furniture is at least comfortable and not old and clean.

A Large Affordable Apartment Near the Airport

I got in rather late - but there was someone waiting for me at the reception. After a rather expensive taxi ride for what turned out to be less than 1.5 miles away, I ended up in a large apartment with a large bathroom and living room that also had a dining table. It was austere but quite habitable. Heliopolis Rock Residence is nice. I think I'd have been alright being there an extra day. However, they did not have a very effective wireless Internet regime. I'd have also appreciated access to a breakfast menu. Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend these accommodations for the Weary in Egypt.

The Rock

Location is in Sheraton Airport area good for people need to be in this area of Cairo. For those seeking a suitable place to sleep with $60 a night it suites the intention. Rooms are spacious. Furniture is clean. TV is useless. No soap no shampoo no towels. It is a functional apartment for long stay. Reception is 1 person. Noise from other apartments starts from 3 in the morning. No view although I 'be booked a room with view...

el lugar esta bien para una o 2 nachos, especialmente a los vuelos que llegan tarde y la gente que buscan sitio cercar del aeropuerto para dormir . había una problema a la hora de check out , querían cobrar mas de lo que había reservado mediante Internet. decían que fue una error que tenderían ser el importe mas lo que habia puesto pero al final, les dije que esto no fue mi problema ..en general no estaba mal para una noche
