蟻が数匹いたが、全体として清潔に保たれていた。ベットサイズが大きく、大柄な大人2人でも快適に眠ることができた。

Nice hotel, close to beach

All cooking utensils are there. When arriving in early morning, hotel staff welcomed us and recommend to spend for a couple of hours until some restaurants will be opened.

ファミリーにおすすめ

還暦超えた両親＆私（38歳）、子ども（7歳、4歳）の5人で２ベッドルームを8泊しました。このホテルは空港からレンタカーで15分ほどのトリニティビーチにあります。コールズという大型スーパーが入っているスミスフィールドショッピングセンターとクリフトンビレッジはそれぞれ車で10分ほど。トロピカルズーは車で15分ほど。ケアンズ市内は25分ほどです。レンタカーを借りるなら不便さはまったくありません。部屋は広々としています。施設は新しくありませんが、壁は真っ白です。部屋の中に食べかすを放置していると虫が来ますが、自然の中のホテルなのでこの点はしょうがないと思います。部屋の中に1冊のファイルがあって、部屋の使い方から、ゴミの出し方、緊急時の対処法、近隣のレストラン情報まで事細かくびっしり書かれていて（英語です）、オーナーの気遣いが感じられます。このファイルを読めば疑問点はほぼ解消されます。タオル交換はハウスキーピングの時まではないので、毎日部屋の洗濯機＆乾燥機で服とタオルを洗いました。食器は一式そろっています。油はなかったので、スーパーでバターを買いました。食器用洗剤と洗濯機用洗剤ははじめ2袋置いてあります。トイレットペーパーも含め、なくなったら自分たちで購入してくださいとファイルに書いてありました。ただしハウスキーピングの時に補充してもらえました。そのハウスキーピングは7日に1回ということでしたが、9日間滞在したので、途中の4日目でハウスキーピングをしてもらいました。リビングの部屋のエアコンから水漏れがしていましたが、オーナーに伝えて途中で修理してもらいました。お砂場セットがたくさん置いてあって、子どもたちは波打ち際で砂場遊びを存分に楽しみました。また朝はビーチを散歩して、爽快な気分でした。ファミリーがわいわい楽しむのに十分な施設でした。

正直、ガッカリでした。上層階で空いてるお部屋があったと思いますが、私たちに用意されたお部屋は、1階で見晴らしが悪く残念。隣接するホテルは、オーシャンビューのBARがあり、羨ましかったです。

滞在型の宿としては申し分ない

タイトル通りでゲストルームは十分広く清潔で申し分ない。快適な滞在が保障されている。近くにレストランはいくつかあって外食は可能だが、レストランやロビーがあってもいい。プールは狭く利用しなかった。またビーチは波が荒く、砂が巻き上げられて海は土色だ。

金庫、洗濯機の使い方が解らず電話したらすぐに来てくれてとても親切でした。また海岸に近くロケーションはよかった、次も利用したいです。

長期間滞在にお勧め

ケアンズに長期滞在する方にお勧めできる宿泊施設です。ハワイなどでは「コンドミニアム」という言い方をすると思いますが、ホテルではなく「アパート」という形式です。家具付きの部屋貸しと考えてください。そのため、タオルやシーツの交換、部屋の清掃サービスなどは一切ありません。希望があれば１週間に１回のペースで行ってくれます。２つのベッドルーム、大きなリビングルーム＋キッチン、洗濯機＋乾燥機が完全に他の部屋と独立した形になっていますので、自分達のペースで自由にケアンズ生活を満喫できます。ワイヤレスインターネットも無料です。立地は空港から、ケアンズ市内と反対側に１５分ほど車で行った、トリニティビーチという静かなエリアです。人気の高いポートダグラスよりも少し静かなところが良いと考えている人や、観光アクティビティを利用するために便利な立地を希望している人にお勧めの場所です。ちなみにポートダグラスに続く沿岸部の道は大雨による土砂崩れで通行止めになるケースがあるので、要注意です。私達が滞在中も２回通行止めで、予定変更を余儀なくされました(_ _);。オフシーズンだったため、非常に安いレートで泊まることができました。オーストラリアは全般に宿泊施設が高いですが、こういったタイプのアパートは値段も安いので、旅慣れた人や中長期滞在をされる方にお勧めです。

Our apartment was very spacious,clean, had a beautiful view of the beach and was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay along with many thoughtful extras such as a cooler, reuse-able ice packs, picnic dishes and umbrellas ! We would definitely recommend this property!

Well equipped, kitchen includes everything for a good long stay. Excellent kitchen and laundry washing facilities in unit. Very beautiful apartments. Feels right at home. Ocean view from the apartment. Steps from the beach. Friendly staff and property manager. Definitely highly recommended for a family or couple stay.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Unser Apartment hatte Blick aufs Meer und den Pool. Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Ausstattung. Es gab alles, was eine moderne Küche braucht. Es war ruhig und es liegt sejr zentral. Alle Annehmlichkeiten sind zu Fuss in Kürze erreichbar. Es hat uns wahnsinnig gut gefallen und wir buchen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Brad and Jo were very welcoming, fabulous to work with so knowledgeable about the area and what to do. Jo walked/showed us to our 2 bed/2 bath unit. Well equipped unit. Jo gave us suggestions for the 5 day stay. She recommended the Kuranda Skyrail, Magic Reef all day tour, drive to Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas and Daintree (Cape Tribulation was closed due to washed out roads) and beaches. She booked and reserved the tours for us. Nice Thai restaurants which are walkable. We had a car which was convenient for grocery shopping, tours etc. very nice area.

The apartment was perfect for our stay of 3 nights. Everything we needed was right there, and Brad at the front desk was incredibly helpful as we planned our visit to Trinity Beach, and as we planned our activities once we arrived.

Bradley and his team were very helpful and informative with the area in terms of dining, activities, events. Our apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. The location is great with beach, dining and coffee within walking distance.

In November we almost had it to ourselves, spacious accommodations, beautiful garden, swimming pools, 2 min walk to the beach, nice attentive customer service ready to help and seem to be at her work place 24/7.

It was a delight staying at the Apartments. All correspondance prior to our arrival was responded to promptly. The apartment was fabulous - heaps of space, lovely beachfront view and contained every amenity. Its proximity to eateries was a definate plus - just a few steps away, (yet we were not annoyed by any noise from them.) Our Host was friendly & was just a phone call away if we needed to check anything. Cleanliness was excellent. Overall we would happily stay again.

Roydon Apartments was wonderful once again. This was our second time staying here and once again it was on par. Extremely clean and comfortable and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks again to the hosts Brad and his wife and the team at Roydon. We’ll be back!
