「Picture's do absolutely no justice to this house and its surroundings, The owners were gracious and checked on us several times. Outside temps hit 17 and the inside was nice and cozy. Only thing I would change was having more time to spend there. Will be going back. The view of the Dolores river out the back is nothing short of amazing.」

「The cabin was perfect for my spouse, 17 yo daughter and dog. I loved reading next to the river and having space for my dog to play. The garage door wall of the kitchen opened up the space more and was great having all the fresh air. Kitchen was just right, the bedrooms and beds comfy too! We came up for a wedding and to detress without the fuss and this was a perfect spot. Town was a couple minutes away. Thank you for sharing your space with us!」

「One of the nicest places we've stayed at. Very comfortable and clean. There were more TVs than you can shake a stick at, and the kitchen was fantastic! Host was very responsive and considerate. There is a 50 amp NEMA 14-50 outlet, but you'll need to bring your own EV charger to plug in. 」

「Well taken care of property had all the amenities you could need and thoughtful hosts. We stayed four nights with our dogs and had no issues. It is on a busy road but fully fenced and not a problem for us. Kitchen is very well stocked too. Would definitely stay again if in the area!」

「Property was very close to Delores with a remote wilderness feel. Saw lots of deer and horses. Only about 20 min. to Mesa Verde National Park. The only drawback was the sulfur smell from the hot water. We had a great stay.」

「This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. No pretentions, just what we expected for a cottage on the reservoir in the country. We had everything we needed to make lovely meals. The cottage is close to several hiking areas and ruins. Super host and hostess that are available when needed.」

「This is a great cabin for a stay in Southwest Colorado. The West Dolores river is feet from the house. The cabin has been updated and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was very responsive. I was lucky to find this property for my vacation.」

「This property was located perfectly for day excursions to Mesa Verde and Durango. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Very comfortable furnishings. My only suggestion would be to install screens on the windows and doors. We couldn’t open them at certain times of day due to the bugs.」

「Secluded location but close to Dolores. Contrary to previous reviews, the heater is a ventless unit so there should be no safety concerns. We used it with no issue. Accommodations are extremely fair for the rate charged. We would stay again.」
