A slight bit of a hike (10 to 15 minutes) to where most of the restaurants and grocery stores, kite/wing schools/rentals are, but I appreciate the quietness and security the place has to offer. Kids took full advandage of the pool, we've enjoyed horseback riding at the nearby equestrian center, delicious food at Natura Cabana and gorgeous sunsets at the community beach. 「The condo was only a few steps from a beautiful beach with a great ocean view from the balcony . It had all the amenities to make my 7 week a perfect vacation , a quiet area in the east end of Cabarete about a 30 minute walk to the main town , but several little grocery stores and small restaurants just a short walk away. There is a little bus that goes into town for only 50 pesos and comes by frequently or you could rent a car but beware of the crazy drivers here.(no road rules here ). Nice...

「My husband and I stayed 7 days. Had a few minor issues but they were quickly taken care of. The house keepers were efficient and quick and the main't man was terrific, very helpful. We hired a chef for 5 of the days and he was the best decision ever!! He made the vacation even more memorable.
