"My wife and I visited 1108 Riddle Branch Road for the 3rd time and it was a very relaxing vacation. The cabin was very clean and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing and the mountain views were spectacular! Our host, Mark, took us on a "restoration tour" of Burnsville in his UTV and it is amazing how much progress has been made by local, state and federal authorities on restoring the roadways and bridges. Thank you for another special getaway, Mark! "

"Spacious, clean home nestled in a serene river valley at the base of the highest mountain east of the Mississippi. The house is comfortable enough to never want to leave, but convenient enough to so many fun things to do, you have to venture out. Ramble down the hill to kayak, fish or swim. A quick 20 minute deive to an easy hike in to a waterfall (roaring fork) with the kids. Both Biltmore and Grandfather are within an hour making for easy day trip outings.And Emerald"

"The water in the bathroom showers, including the one in the kitchen, smells horrible. It seems they have serious plumbing problems. We were practically unable to shower or enjoy cooking. I hope the owners fix this for future guests because the house is generally fine."

"Loved our stay here. It was exceptional, the owner was excellent at communicating and was extremely gracious. The only thing I would mention is the driveway up to the house is very steep and has sections of loose gravel, so make sure you have a car that can handle it. Overall, extremely recommend staying here and we will be back! "

"Property is in good location and good view, but this place had so many spiders in house to stay. They were everywhere - in bed, sofa, bathroom, kitchen and there was no response from property manager even after couple of emails. Booked this property for two nights but had to leave after first night as kids were too scared even to walk around the house. Worst part was that property manager was totally unreachable and still waiting to hear back from him. Won't recommend it to anyone."
